Unpopular Opinions about Video Games

They deliberately made all the female characters incredibly ugly to own the chuds and gaming journalists ate that shit up like chocolate ice cream.
They're also totally unlikeable. In the first game I read pretty much every conversation, the characters were interesting and charismatic, the writing was witty and funny. With 2 I started skipping everything in less than 10 minutes. Melinoe in particular is so boring compared to Zagreus.

Yea I noticed that too, there really fucking snarky now, probably to appeal to reddy users.

It was always an ugly, unbearably pretentious looking woke piece of shit.

don’t think they’re equivalent in effect at all
They are. Because both sides make gaming fucking insufferable since it's a constant pissing match between faggots who can't handle seeing even a millimeter of cleavage and faggots who think anything less than micro-string bikinis and an all white/gook cast is woke garbage.

That's my unpopular opinion. Both sides should either fuck off and find a new hobby or kill themselves.

I've officially come to the conclusion ps1 RE1 sucks, I've tried to play it three times on the original difficulty ie hard, it gives no fucking ammo and I have to use shitty tank controls and the knife against a million fucking zombies. I always end up dying and quitting right during the crow painting section or the plants section, that's if I make it past all the shitty zombies and dogs. RE2 on hard gives tons of ammo at least even if the enemies are bullet sponges. Game sucks, not my fault.

Nobody thinks that, faggot.

I read they made the American version harder. I'm not sure if the Director's Cut fixed it or not but I wanna say it did. I'm at least pretty sure the DS port did.

If you're talking about the version with no auto aim and 2 saves per ribbon then yeah. FWIW Kenneth (the guy being eaten by the first zombie) has two clips on him. You can usually grab at least one before the zombie gets up and turns around. This is pretty much required on Chris' route.

Despite what you said about the second game, I actually have the same problem in that game. I've had runs before where I've run out of ammo shooting dogs in that basement area that leads to the parking lot/morgue. I must be missing something.

You're not missing anything, those first two games are just hard as hell. RE3 & R0 are the better balanced games imo.

Directors Cut has both versions, the original difficulty ie american and easy ie japanese.
Play Resident Evil and Dino Crisis with ammo cheats.

I play these games in large part for the mix of light action and atmosphere/clues-gathering: kill everyone first, then meticulously explore. Don't ruin my fun by asking me to tapdance around enemies.
Dino Crisis I finished couple times, its easy to dodge dinosaurs in that cause they dont grab you and if you know how to mix the tranqs properly you will have a ton of good quality ammo. RE1 on the original difficulty forces me to use the knife especially considering none of the zombies go down even in 5-8 shots which makes it really difficult. I like the combat for the most part, it just sucks really bad that you get no ammo.

Theres a ton of ammo in the second one since Im playing it currently. I started last night, like 18 hours ago and right now Im at the boss fight in the sewers. Dogs and the creepers consume ammo yes but the game gives a lot of ammo as well, as long as youre willing to ignore a zombie or two in wide open spaces.

I get the feeling you're not going to like scenario B. Remember to search Mr X for ammo.

As for RE1. The game is singy with ammo, but the final scene shouldn't be giving you that much trouble unless you're trying to kill everything. Enemies get health back if you leave a room.

I don't understand why Hades 2 has had such a positive reception. It is worse than the first in literally every way, and by a lot.
It's one of those games that feels astro turfed to me. Astro turfed might be the wrong word, but it's like Last of Us 2 where everyone praising it has a political motivation for doing so.

I did notice it getting the most praise from the usual suspects, so you're probably right on some level. It's like they totally ignored the core gameplay being worse, the writing being worse, the weapon roster being worse and everything else that's a downgrade.
I do understand getting woke vibes from the art style btw, but I will stand my ground on the first game being great. Got some pretty cute girls for a "woke" game I might add. They killed that in 2 of course, like everything else good about the first.

RE0 might be more liberal with the ammo, but I'll cut my own dick off before I deal with the item management in that game again.

I started shaking my head at the sheer idiocy of that "innovation" in 2002 and I'm still going 22 years later.

I thought it was a good idea, the only problem was it had a cap on how many items could be in an area. I can see how someone might not be a fan of it in general though because it's less practical.
