Jake *needs* Gamergate. Without it, he can't blame anything except his own lack of talent and commitment for his failure.

His own internet footprint shows that he had not particularly original ideas. Now he complains that other people ripped off his ideas and that his "career" has been negatively affected by "games journalism".

It's strange how the failure of his game happened way before most people heard of Zoe Quinn, yet someone Jake chalks his failure up to goobergrabber. He also lays the blame on it for his (self-imagined) persecution, when hatred for trans people existed long before video games were invented.

Jake's hasn't gotten the memo that Trump is the new boogeyman and groovygravy is so 2014. I for one cannot wait to see him try to connect Trump to his failures and his lack of balls to come out as a tranny.

I'd say so. It gives him a convenient monster to blame all his troubles on. If he had to face up to the fact that all his dragons are imaginary, he'd have to reflect upon the fact that his own choices led him to where he is now. Brianna Wu at least has her "Women in Tech" shit and ultimately a rich husband to fall back upon if she fucks everything up.
