I was unsure about involving Nick Dixon in Tony’s drama, but it’s bought about some amusement as the replies to Mad Man Glinner’s tweet demonstrate.

If there was a “41%ers” for piss poor comics, then Nick Dixon would qualify. He’s constantly on Twitter, has a gossamer thin skin, and has numerous mEnTaL HeAlTh problems.

An episode of the Weakly Skeptic over Christmas 2023 was especially cringe, with Dixon over sharing to the extent that fellow host Toby “Mekon” Young nearly pulled the plug and called the quacks.

I probably am a lolcow TBH, albeit not a very exciting or funny one. Just your common or garden Twitter sperge who didn't anticipate or react well to some hardcore trolling.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

It is often repeated that a lolcow's main feature is that they refuse to learn anything. Even if in the past you behaved in some way that the Farms found lolcowish at least you didn't quadruple-down on it and spent your whole life loudly seething at trolls and therefore making everything worse.

I think there were other reasons too. I've not asked Dear Sneeder to rename the thread but it probably could do with it.

Dr Harrop has disappeared from social media (at least in his own name), I'm trying not to wind up like Chantal and Tony is still suing everyone and producing some very funny content.

and no, the thread didn't not die a death because Caroline started posting in it: it attracted several of the insane people who Caroline interacts with, and then for some reason you decided to sperg out in the thread about the fact it existed, and are, inexplicably, still obsessed four years later, even when Ma Farrow herself has managed to deal with it.

also I didn't tag other users into the thread. I'm not sure if I've EVER tagged other users in ANY thread.

What fucked this thread up was the bizarre and idiotic decision to merge a bunch of completely unrelated threads together, rendering it utterly unintelligible. Harrop more or less disappearing resolved some of that although it's probably confusing why he's even listed there.
