There was a book I read recently that was published in 2009 that had some stats i found rather interesting.
Around 57% of Comiket attendees were women and around 71% of the circles that attended were made up of women.

It's pretty funny to think about how ANN and to an extent the wider normie anime community latches on to this idea that women are treated unfairly in both the production stage and the medium itself yet they know jack shit about the history and influence women have had on the community for decades.

Another one of ANN's forum nolifers who supports their staff, Shay Guy, is an open Israel supporter who's too chickenshit to talk about it on the forums or in front of the ANN writers, lest he burn any bridges.

Notice he follows and frequently interacts with ANN staff, including Nick, James, Caitlin, etc. even though the only one following him back is Frog-kun. Also notice his timeline and likes are full of pro-Israel stuff.

Notice how he included the fact that Caitlin retweeted the tweet he's subtweeting. He even acknowledges it in the alt text, "retweeted by @alltsun_nodere". This is despite the fact Caitlin is one of the ANN staff he follows and frequently has friendly interactions with.
(Yes, Caitlin is openly pro-Palestine. She's tweeted "free Palestine" and mentioned following the BDS boycott.)

Don't be a pussy Shay. Let the ANN forums and the critics you're supporting know what you think of Israel too.
