Look, if you read my post carefully, I agreed with you on sending Viva back. That is not in contention. Not only is he a useless grifter, but he is the typical Canadian that thinks he is American when convenient.

yeah that sounds right. i guess when we add all that evidence in too, it's more likely than not that he's not sober. i guess i was just looking at his behavior in isolation and assuming the best/most rational about him given the circumstances. but you're right. the idea that he would be utterly unfazed and unrepentant in all areas of his life except for the fact that he was now sober, miraculously, is less likely than him being utterly unfazed and unrepentant while also being inebriated.
