Zach's takes on movies has always been mid to absolutely dogshit at best. Sometimes he says "this thing is good" and it's fine, sometimes he says something is great and it's crap, and rarely he says something is bad and is correct. Personally I stopped watching Simple Zach because I lost giving a shit about the whole sphere including him. But it's funny how he railed against dogshit comics for years which all tied into the decline of the western comics interest, but when it comes to Hollywood, suddenly you should watch shitty movies even if they are shitty? No thanks man, I work a job and I have friends I like to spend time with, if I am going to cut into those times, and use my hard earned money for a film, I'm going to something I am confident I will enjoy, and so far, that hasn't happened this year. Not with new movies anyway, been watching films I never got to see in my life, filling in my catalogue.

The best part about Hollywood and Mainstream comics is, all the ones I love and have yet to see are still out there. I have plenty to get through and revisit and Hollywood/MSC can burn for all I care.

Yeah, no argument that Rippa is elevating the medium. This is however, a test of branding. Sciverfrog could have easily had the better brand by now if he hadn't abandoned the original CG brand of putting out comics that regular people want to buy in exchange for internet edgelord asshole points derived from personal loyalty over everything else, including the Trumpservatism that supposedly got him persecuted in the first place.

July's brand is social media conservative, has always revolved around his personality, his takes, and therefore intrinsically loyalty-checked. Basically, he's everything Sciverfrog wishes he could have pulled off without the gayops and the constant repositioning and maneuvering. Rippa's success in comic books is a total reckoning of the Sciververse model. Frankly, Sciverfrog is now providing Rippa with the kind of fuel Ethan used to receive from the original SJWs. It's the perfect end-cap top hat to the gelatinous bubbling remnants of the CG nouveau riche.

But on its own merits, there's not much to see in Rippaverse. As long as the underachievers cry about it, they'll keep losing ground. By all means keep crying, this is really getting good with the Rekieta crossover!

Debora Carita sucks at drawing. Maybe my expectations are too high for regular comics.
Judging by the art alone, the best I have seen from Ripper is Alphacore, and there was a lot of room for improvement.
Maybe the story by the two crazy ladies is good.

That being said, a comic released is always superior to a comic promised.

I will not buy this comic to pwn the libs. Do buy it to pwn JuJu and EVS if that brings you joy.

Ya Boi always seemed more honest in his opinions and that can be messy for him. At least his takes don't feel like AI like the Fandom Menace/FNT hive mind at this point. He's never been a great youtuber like Nerd, who could work the platform.
