I just wanna take a moment to point out the insanity of the presentation of this article here, headed by a photo of a sad person hunched over in a corner.

It says "Look at these poor nazis. They are trying to subjugate people, but in the process often have to - *gasp* - witness opinions that differ from their own. Now, finally, they will be spared this horrible trauma and get to force their will upon others without having to deal with such inconveniences."

Orwell wishes he had thought of this. Even the workers at the Ministry of Truth weren't so evil as to complain about having to witness opinions they don't agree with as they censor them in a systematic manner.

you have no idea how much it pains me to admit this, but even though their overall influence on the scene is net negative, there are some trannies who do legitimately contribute good work and valuable code to some open source software projects out there
ugh i feel dirty for posting this but it is the truth

This is actually a really good point. I can't really think of a authoritarian regime that has ever gone the route of "these opinions are physically and emotionally harmful to witness and we need all the protection we can get" like this.

Sure, places like the USSR and 3rd Reich had censorship to stop "enemy propaganda" "antirevolutionary thought" and "judeo-bolshevism" from spreading but they didn't see it in such a way. The closest I can think of is religious reaction to heresy, heathenism and apostasy but even then you were not expected to literally start flaying about in distress from seeing a infidel sin. Disgust, shock, revulsion sure. But pain?

It really is some 1984 shit, trying to conflate the mere existence of different opinions with becoming incapacitated.

These people literally believe simultaneously all of the communist cultural mixes gobbledygook but also still embrace liberal ideas of freedom and fairness but have to twist themselves in 900 knots to justify their own oppression of other people.

And these people wonder why America has a shortage of soldiers what is there left to fight for what is the left to die for does your family and your kids if you have them but why would anybody die for any of the western European nations if they're are racist and oppressive.

These people literally make no sense and will destroy society rather than they admit that they are completely and utterly delusional that's why I really don't feel the current elite they are not particularly smart people

100% he will get a knock from the bobbies if he's residing in the UK, that nation is completely cucked when it comes to "cyber crime". Mind you, my country isn't much better regarding this but at least the cops only bother people who post stuff like that under their real name on Facebook and the like.
