This, along with his weird denial of cheese and hatred of anime. Josh has been disconnected from the United States for so many years, he has no idea what it is like to actually live there anymore. While I understand Null's stance ("It wasn't worth it") I don't fully agree with it. I think that what really did us (us as in the West) was the fall of Soviet Union. When Soviet Union existed we were motivated to create superior culture, have happier people and we always had the Soviets to look at if we wanted to see what we don't want to become. Everything was working fine up until the 90s. When it fell we lost focus and motivation and the result is the world we have now.
