MISSISSIPPI (WKRC) - A man pleaded guilty to murdering and dismembering a man in a laundromat at an RV park. He planned on taking the body to a casino to have the pieces reattached.

Clint Barrett Brower, 45, approached Micah Harrington, 41, in an RV park's laundromat. According to security footage reviewed by authorities, Brower apparently approaches Harrington and engages in a short conversation with him before stabbing him over 30 times.

"I took the knife and killed him," Brower admitted during his hearing.

Brower claims he does not remember the topic of his conversation with Harrington, but that the man made him feel threatened. He specifically claimed he thought Harrington was "going to harm me or others", and that he was "moving in a threatening way". He reacted by pulling a large butcher knife from his bag and stabbing the victim. Harrington was partially dismembered after the attack.

After killing Harrington, Brower tied his corpse up with a rope and dragged it behind him as he left the laundromat. Brower's plan was to take the body to a casino, hoping someone there could "put [Harrington] back together".

Michael Crosby, Brower's attorney, has cited this thought process and the weak inciting incident as evidence toward Brower's severe mental illness, which Brower told the judge he's suffered with since he was a teenager. Some of his neighbors from the RV park he and Harrington resided seemed to agree.

"It's just one of those things that the system failed one individual and that's all it is," William Petty, a neighbor of Brower's, said. "He needed more psychiatric help. I believe that's the issue and he just didn't get it."

Micara Harrington, the victim's daughter, appeared at Brower's trial. Although he attempted to apologize to her, she said "he's not even human. He's a monster."

Brower had been arrested the day prior to the attack for an outstanding warrant, but after appearing before the judge was released. Officers said there was no indication Brower was going to harm himself or others.

Brower has been sentenced to life in prison.

Mental illness should not be a mitigating factor in crime. It should be treated as another count.
Yea it seems to me like its your responsibility to take care of your mental problems, they should add a While mentally ill to his Homicide charges or whatever he has. Also let's drag this dead body to a casino to have it put back together? He should have went to a damn witchdoctor or something
