"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

You have more power that you think you do in swaying public opinion.
I also think he underestimates himself. I agree with all of your post, but this quote summarizes it. I don't think Null is so much hated as he is feared. It seems obvious to me that even big names are afraid of being featured on the Kiwi Farms. The forum may be niche relative to the larger platforms but it's not that small. Also, the community is so galvanized that they are willing to donate literally hundreds of thousands of dollars for no other reason than wanting to see Null spearhead an offensive against the faggots that run everything and ruin everything, and that's fucking crazy. He is more powerful than he realizes.

I would kill to have your job. Or at least, what I perceive to be your earnings.
I don't necessarily disagree with the rest of your post, but this is absolute lunacy. He had to move first to Ukraine and then to Serbia in order to afford living expenses. Nevermind all the job hazards of running this site, including the difficulty of being able to receive money from people who want to send him some. People who use crypto are still a very small minority. Most other avenues of income are closed off to him, probably even if he were to completely shut the site down. You'd have to be retarded to want to be in Null's position.

I think there is a chance you'd be posthumously recognized for your work. Especially with your non-profit plans. Cold comfort, I know
Ngl, I immediately thought of Van Gough when he said that. Posthumous recognition is the worst kind of irony.

I think he is also just tired of organizing and getting things done alone.

If he comes to my country, Bulgaria, I will send him, via e-mail, all the cheapest pizza places, so he has no excuse. But in all honesty, you have a point, bitcoin is probably not a big way to get donations. However, people like me and you occasionally donate to him. I just wish he wasn't such a downer this week. It reminds me of myself when I'm down, I just lash out.

EDIT: To have someone donate money to you is something many people who are NEETs have never even seen. I'm not saying Josh is ungrateful (I kind of am), I just want him to be more humble. He's just some guy, right?

Hi Josh, nice forum you have.
Thought I'd post something here since Elon Musks hugbox squeezed you a bit too tightly.

You've been doing really really well recently from an outside perspective. The legal shit, your viewership, your overall conversational ability, the boosted viewers you've had from Nicks falling out.

Getting banned off "x" is spilled milk, it's absolutely nothing and nowhere near as important as what you're doing. You're right that you'll never have the financial or social security that Bob down the road has from his insanely normal lifestyle. You decided to do something unique with your life. Something not even a slither of us here could truly really comprehend and you're doing it rather well. It's harvest season and some spaz on twitter means you can't post as Josh "Large Dogs" Moon. It's not the end of the world.

The reason why I posted here today is because of how boring Twitter is getting and I think that if you get back to MATI you could actually take advantage of your banning off twitter. I think more people would make accounts and post here if they knew that the forum is operating fairly well (I thought it was spluttering along like when it was getting heavily attacked).

Anyway this is getting long winded, you're entitled to your rage but you're also missing an opportunity to not be using this rage to make an angry gorilla omni nigger MATI stream.

I've enjoyed watching your growth Josh. All the best.

My anger is from the realization that the pendulum will never swing so far that I, personally, can benefit from it. It doesn't matter what I do, what I say, what I write, what I accomplish, who I inspire, who I influence, etc: I personally will never benefit. I will never profit from my work. I will never benefit from my mission. The only possible good fortune I am going to ever receive is possibly living to see a day where my idealism is spread a bit further.

<lots of other words>
That's really all you can hope for. Truth and transparency don't make a person revered. They sure as shit don't make money.

Preaching righteousness without becoming a dictatorial, fart-huffing cretin is one of Man's oldest struggles. You're toeing that tightrope just about as well as anybody I've ever seen do it.

The Internet is not a place where anybody makes friends - remember this. That's reserved for meatspace only.

Anyway, I hope you get your avenues back. idunnolol, maybe start issuing bona fide fatwas to your followers, rather than just having your detractors dream up imaginary ones attributed to you.

You should start a fundraiser so you can buy an isp in the name of the Kiwis Farms and work from building contacts from there. You know people here would definitely paypig for you to do that even if it takes a few months and there are a lot of relatively smalls ones that aren't worth more than five or six figures

Bro, in the years I've been at this the only person to ever contact me from a datacenter or ISP was some dude in Poland and he contacted me by Twitter DM.

I've never been able to break the bubble or get people from within important organizations to make change to help us.

You know what the fuck I'm saying, don't twist it to make it about you.
If you can hold out about another decade I think this will change. It only takes a couple of sleepers to get through the system and suddenly, you have a congressman or two in your back pocket.

His reputation and current situation reminds me of someone else honestly. Jesus. You want to talk about a "man" that never saw the fruits of his labor, who was nailed to a tree by the government for his struggle? Jesus Christ can relate.

I've watched this for days and I've said nothing. You aren't the first to be hated by all but a few. Unlike Jesus, you are not destined to die on a cross. You are in control of your own fate, even if it doesn't feel like it now.

It wouldn't help, the problem KF has is with the tier 1 providers that supply the routing to those small providers. Josh would have to fundraise to become one of the big boys, like "changing the foundational map of the Internet" big.

(I'm interested in exactly how much that might cost, but you aren't getting that kind of cash through crowd funding unless your name is Star Citizen.)

I don't know Josh, if you want to quit just do it.
But lately the image that people have of KF has been changing because of people like mutahar, turkey tom and etc.. All of this process is very slow, and if you feel like you can make a big change in the tech sphere without KF, just do it.
Rome wasn't build in a day, and it also wasn't build in ten years.

I hate their children, though.

There's a sort of dark humor in that we (you) refer to the WW2 generation as the "greatest generation" and their children as just "boomers". There's an implicit admission that the WW2 generation was the best it ever got, and every single generation after was worse off.
Personally I hate millennials more.
>the most creatively bankrupt
>single handedly turned all my hobbies to shit
>pushed the hardest for gay/troon shit
>anti goverment, then flip to opposite stance when it benefits them
>loyalty is lacking
>sleep on things that hurt everyone, especially in their own country, but will riot and protest hard for black and brown people overseas (see above)
>limp wristed and passive aggressive
Granted, they're a byproduct of Boomers and early Gen X, which is enough to hate them more, but that doesn't make me personally hate them any less, despite being in the category.
My great grandparents always told us they did it for the money. Great Depression was a thing and military service was the best way to bring in a stable income even if the pay is shit.
I never met my grandfather, but from what my family have told me, he joined for this very reason. Had a big family to support and had to have multiple jobs to sustain them, and the military made that far easier.
He fought in three major battles in Japan, barely survived taking shrapnel to the head, lost a lot of friends. He saved enough money and bought hundreds of acres of land and gave it to his family, which we still own today. Great guy from the sounds of it. Wish I met him.
