Chantal will never "know" she is dying. Whenever she has what one would normally call a "moment of clarity" she quickly writes it off as an "anxiety attack".
She could be told that she has stage-4 liver cancer, and rather than accept that she is indeed dying, she will attempt to cure herself with marigolds and rotten grape elixir. If she feels better for a couple of days, it will be burgers and poutine for dinner again.
LifeByJen never really accepted that she was dying either, even when it was obvious to literally everyone else. She remained smug right until the end. She was probably dreaming of chaffles when the Grim Reaper loaded her onto the carriage.
So I am not holding my breath for an elegant soliloquy on Fatso's deathbed about a life wasted, opportunities squandered, mistakes made, and regrets. I expect burgers, fries, and lots of dipping sauces.
Despite past greatness as a lolcow, in many respects Chantal is a disappointment as a lolcow too. Many moments that should have been great turned out to be dull and stupid. Her death will turn out that way too, most likely.
