I couldn't agree more. The number one thing I took away from being in relationships was "Oh my God, this is really all there is to it. It really is this mundane."

Seeing a lot of women seething about this online today, raging about how it is proof that men want "mommies" to take care of them and that they are pathetic and juvenile, because real women are ham planet freaks who act in strictly parasitic fashion and you just need to get with the times.

Turns out, and maybe women wouldn't be so bitter and miserable if they tried it from time to time, being affectionate and loving to your significant other is a good thing actually and helps to strengthen the romantic bond between you. All men really want is the occasional open show of appreciation and affection, much like how a woman feels entitled to being doted on by her man from time to time. But of course, being born with a penis means you are literal scum of the earth and undeserving of basic things like human connection and affection, according to a certain type of foid.

An alien concept to the rotund females amongst us, no doubt.

i am reminded of a joke buck broken bill burr made that was less of a joke but just a story
his wife once made him a sandwich and handed it to him without a word
that's all she needed to do

when I've been in relationships, my favorite thing for us to do was cook together

like, seriously - I don't need to be waited on hand and foot. I don't want her to do all the work and *I* don't want to do all the work. Cooking is boring as fuck, let's do it together and make a game of it to pass the time. It's fun that way.

There is a certain kind of woman who wants, more than anything else, to be a giant bitch to everybody. She regards all social conventions and norms restraining her bitchiness as intolerable restrictions. If she ever gets into a position of authority, she uses this to be as big a bitch to everyone as she can possibly. The idea that, for a successful marriage, she would need to not be a bitch from time to time is, in her mind, evidence that the patriarchy is still oppressing women.

Women are seething over this because they cannot imagine taking any joy in providing comfort to a man. The kind of woman seething over this fantasizes about having a man she can treat like shit, somebody who will happily absorb her natural bitchiness every day, and still dote on her and give her everything she wants.

Not every woman is like that, of course. Plenty of women are sweet-natured, kind-hearted people. Others are born bitches. I've known both types.

king. I enjoy cooking a lot more with someone. TV on isn't really all that fun when i gotta play with fire and chop stuff.

Functional relationships consist of people who actually like doing things for each other. The post consisted of a sweet gesture a girlfriend did for her boyfriend and the fact that angry legbeards got pissed off about it says a lot more about them than the OP. I can’t even think of a joke to make here because it shows just how pathetic their lives are.

My sister stole my elderly mother’s credit card and hit her card limit by spending thousands on alcohol in a week.

My sister is not supposed to drink because she takes liver intensive medication.

When my mom asked wtf was going on, my sister snapped at her.

I am supposed to fix this somehow.

I am not a fan of “empowered” women.
