Diseased #Comicsgate - The Culture Wars Hit The Funny Books!

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I think it's only fitting that after they get all their donations for the legal defense fund, they should then blow it all on Phillies games, Atlantic City casinos, pies, concerts, and whatever in true CG fashion.

19 donations and only $885 raised all day.

I see the Duck/Vito/Riley fans are really pulling together on this one. Lmao
That's an average of 46ish dollars per person. Which is kind of funny if you think about it since there's retards on that list that gave up 200 dollars alone.

The fans could have rallied together and cut their costs better

This is what I am talking about with Zach earlier in this thread. Nigga, you liked a movie, other people in your sphere didn't, but also didn't hate it, and moved on. You're still coping and seething about it. Motherfucker, the movie has only made 120 mil. It's LOSING to FUCKING GARFIELD... It's not just "50-year old men" who aren't watching that mid tier film. Get the fuck over it.
Spends his entire early Youtube career sperging out boomer style about comics being directed at fags, now when he's been felted by every Main stream comic creator including a manlet by the name of Mark Waid, now he wants to be the moral fence sitter. Well, I hope the plank is nice and comfy up his asshole, because he's going to be sitting in the middle for a long time with this new found attitude.
Zach was like a field medic. He saw devastating wounded careers, lopsided unconventional warfare, he made a few splints, dressed some wounds, told some war stories but his own crowdfunded medevac would help inspire some bigger names would would in turn try to make the medevac a viable replacement for a retirement plan. But after an intense fire fight, the shell-shock set in and he just couldn't take it anymore. He tried for an honorable discharge, but everyone knew he surrendered.

The only thing more difficult than military life for a soldier is civilian life and now that the internet has managed to dredge up all the man's flaws for all to see he finds he can't even relate to his old fans, which are merely mirrors of his own mind, he retreats further and further away and they from him. The cruel irony is this: the enemies of your enemies are not always your friends, not even most of the time. A common enemy is easily allied against, but who you go to war with will later determine the quality of your peacetime, if you even get one.

What he has now is only regret and confusion and the desire to turn the dial back but what good is chasing after what you think customers want when your vision is so easily blurred and your resolve so shaky? There are no sequels for a toothless man burning down a dentist's office because he's allergic to milkshakes.

Keep in mind this a man who
shit himself for years over comics needless gay insertions, even when the comic asylum patients were clearly writing them for themselves and their adult pals, but he thinks he can say this?

He’s got like 3 back to back posts right now crying about Mags, and we all know he only thinks Mags is worth spotlighting because he’s a trans weirdo.
Same with Tee, Vita, Danny, and Joe.
This dude blamed a whole comic industry for aiding of the murder & cover up of Ed piskor, and now he's like "maybe we are the baddies" because no one liked the prequel of a sequel of a character people forgot about 10 years ago.

George Miller fell for the same trap that all these other idiots went for. Strong female lead characters to surpass and replace the male title characters in their own franchises. They are so strong they need male hosts just to get attention. Richard is just floating out there and is pushing off the wrong wall. Early onset dementia?

A gem from @AnOminous In the Dax Thread
my thoughts exactly

It's almost like even the open racists here actually judge people by their individual merits.

I think one obvious nigger here is @FROG. Why has this faggot stolen a bunch of people's money and then instead of drawing the faggot frogs he sold them, he's bitching and tantruming at some black guy?

Why not deliver your OWN product you thieving piece of shit nigger @FROG?

At this point, I'm thinking he's working some kind of scam or angle. I can't figure out exactly what it is, but I'll bet he has a spreadsheet for it. Instead of being grateful for the unlikely sequel, Furiosa, that he supposedly enjoyed, he's angry that we aren't going to get Furiosa Too: Electric Boogaloo. Or something, I don't really understand his thesis here, since while he does seem to be mad there won't be a sequel to Furiosa it seems to go beyond that. I mean he threw a temper tantrum over Dial of Destiny as well, and at this point asking Harrison Ford to be the lead in another action movie just seems cruel. I never got a Dredd 2 either, and instead of throwing a temper tantrum about it on line, I was just happy I got to watch Dredd. (And there are lots of movies I've liked that underperformed at the box office, that's how the box office works.) When Son of the Mask came out in 2005, did he throw a fit that that underperformed too? That should just be his new thing, yelling at people when sequels to popular or cult movies fail, "Do better Americans! Do better!"

Is he mad theaters are going out of business? I can't tell. Maybe be angrier about the naked shorts on the theater chains than the fact that 50 year old men are grumbling about modern movies. I'm sure the theaters want us 50 year old men beating down their doors to watch the latest film aimed at hip young people. Actually if they are smart they want somebody beating down their doors to watch movies, it's true, because the finance guys are breathing down their necks. However, I'm pretty sure it's the TikTok crowd they want to court, not us old guys.

Zach was a likeable goofball before he got success in comics. The climate out there is a deceptively easy and open invitation to critique. If the critic gets big enough to hurt sales and/or advertising, they will be cancelled upon. If the critic gets a truckload of positive feedback, it's kind of hard to maintain their footing because criticizing shit like this is easy pickings.

It's not that hard for a critic to point out the obvious, but given enough time to get high on one's supply, nothing is guaranteed. Jawbreakers didn't have to be good either and it wasn't (for me). I'd say it was passable. It didn't get better from there though because Meyer deep down is not an artist or a storyteller but a fanboy consumer who got bored waiting for the next Larry Hama. Self awareness is one thing, and Zach had that to a certain degree, but he was missing that internal drive that forces you to keep making improvements regardless whether someone pats you on the head or not. If he had that, he wouldn't have backed down from Waid and he might have had a solid brand on his hands.

Isn’t Fury Road the sequel to Furiosa? Who really gives a fuck about a chick acting like a boring dude? Every single time they make the same lame Donut Steel a 15 year old Sonic Sword Art Online fan would post on tumblr. I would rather see how that pale chinless blob collected his harem just to find out what the fuck happened to his face, not EVS.

He even admitted to making some serious mistakes with Jawbreakers (like wiping out the Jawbreakers team in one of the early Jawbreakers comics). He decided to rely on his own variant of the multiverse to solve that one. (I'm not sure why he decided to kill off his superhero team so early on in the first place, maybe he read Watchmen one too many times. Even Watchmen didn't kill off the whole team.) It was always unlikely that ComicsGate was going to be able to create a viable alternative industry to replace the existing one. Ironically, a lot of the same complaints he has about "alt-Hollywood" apply to alt-comics. Zach is the equivalent of the Kevin Sorbo/Gina Carano movies he decries, except for in the comics industry. He's the North Korean gameshows he thinks Netflix is planning to show instead of Hollywood fare. He is Dorf. (When I told my brother about his rant where he mentioned Dorf, my brother said, "What does he have against Dorf?") He's just the equivalent of those things in comics instead of in movies or TV.

I think because Fury Road was created first, they just call Furiosa a prequel to Fury Road. But you're right, he's already lucky enough to have both Furiosa and Fury Road, and even so he still wants another one. I think though what he's really worried about is Hollywood itself experiencing a financial contraction. Well, that's usually what happens when you have a period of reckless borrowing and spending followed by a credit crunch. It's not because of the terrifying power of The Quartering to influence broad consumer spending trends.

Same reason EVS on stream lowered the price of his copies of ISOM on his Ebay, to OWN the uppity Niggroid

Keeping in mind he also said in that same moment "even with my signature it's not worth 25$" which is actually a huge felt on himself and not July... Because July has the money from the copies.
Meanwhile rippaverse did sales of old volumes.cutting to 12 dollars even. Shirts were 5 dollars. He is beating cg nuts on everything.

And you get retards like this guy that says Eric July got the warrant put out on Reilly. So now Eric controls the cops, he controlled Nick to become a drunk, degen swinging coke head, now he controls the courts and judges of podunk Texas to issue warrants.
I don't know why he wastes his time with comics. Clearly Eric could overthrow the gubment at the blink of an eye. Hell, he IS the Gubment according to these guys.

Eric Julymminati confirmed.

Here he is with his many contacts plotting the downfall of Ethan's pie stash.
Every single day, I am reminded that people on this Earth cannot compute how building up a platform to market from---allowed Eric July to market from a platform he built up. They're stupified by the concept of preparedness.

It's almost like he's running a business or something...
