It’s not even well written. It would’ve been more unique if the horror came from how criminals saw Batman as a monster. Batman who kidnaps children is not even original and didn't even work when the Batman who laughs did it. I bet he won't even have the balls to make a Wonder Woman analog horror series. DC apologized for making Wonder Woman and the Amazon Greek mythology accurate during New 52. Thanks to faggots like Linkara, who didn't like Zeus raping Wonder Woman mother. Wonder Woman being demigod fixes a lot of her origin story issues.

I don't fully understand what's going on here. You've been paying the electric bill and somehow didn't notice you were being charged for multiple households worth of power, but you apparently haven't been paying them because you owe thousands in late fees? And now that you've realized you've been footing your entire building's electricity bill, the plan is to... just pay them? Through e-begging? Not consulting a lawyer and raising hell? And if he's without power because the bill isn't being paid, wouldn't the entire building be without power as well? Why aren't you hitting up your neighbors so they can pay their share? Somehow I have a hard time taking this at face value.

I always thought they could at least meet us half way by saying "took their own life" rather than blatantly saying suicide, but they can't even do that. I noped out of a Lazy Masquerade video when the fucker actually tried to say "took his own life", but actually censored the word "life" -- so he had the audacity to say in the video, "...he would go on to take his own l***." I had to listen to it again to make sure the video didn't glitch.

I sat there dumbfounded for about 15 seconds and said, "Seriously?"

I wanna add to this: as much as I used to enjoy Wavywebsurf's content, he's sadly gone down that path. In a lot of his recent uploads he flat out removes the words death, murder, and suicide, and I'm also pretty sure he's said "unalive" at a few times too. It really pisses me off too, because he's not one of those woke horror community faggots.

Horror youtubers are so deep into dystopian self-censorship that they're talking about some moderately creepy websites and fake stories they found of the internet and actual murder and rape cases, oh excuse me "Unalive and Essay victims", with the same level of detachment so they can get more views, sometimes selling the uncensored versions on Patreon instead of just reuploading them anywhere else.

The funny thing is, even a Batman horror story with Batman being the bad guy has been done before. In the early 1990’s I think. In that story, Batman fought Dracula and became a Vampire.

Couldn't have said it better myself. There's something really sickening about the way many of these channels act, since they seem allergic to saying actual words relating to death and suffering, but use algospeak with reckless abandon. It wouldn't be a problem if they used any of the myriad of different euphemisms relating to the subject that don't come off as disrespectful, but instead they have to go with the absolute most fucking twee words imaginable so they can smugly rake in all that ad revenue at the end of the month.

I'd be more sympathetic if these channels didn't seem to revel in the subject matter so much and then proceed to bitch and moan when someone reports them or when their ad revenue gets yanked. This kind of content has a hard time staying profitable on mainstream media, and the difference there is that it's not being ran by someone who gleefully pockets thousands of dollars from every video, pretending to cry on camera after talking about how someone was brutally shot to death - oh wait, in their language that would be "game-overed with a pew-pew" - with a massive grin on their face.

The way some of these channels act, it's easy to think they actually want more people to suffer so it gives them the content they can milk for all it's worth.

They can't even come up with some more creative ways of announcing a person's death like "cease/stopped breathing" or "never moved again after that", but saying "unalive" is genuinely some violent inducing zoomer speak right there.

I think you're putting too much blame on the creator. When did you view the video? It is common practice to record a video without the edits and upload it, let YouTube algorithms decide whether it is monetizable or not then when it is approved, it goes live. But even then all it takes is a manual report of some snowflake or another YouTube algorithm that has different parameters flags it. There is a lot that goes into running a business, who knew?
