The Peter Popoff miracle grifter segment is one of my favorites from their recent Saturday stream, as well as the expose on StarWarsGirl eating dirt compulsively. From my estimation they made around $3000 from that show and went for 8 hours, it was one of the best in recent memory with PPP having great energy even into the late hours. Every once in a while they have a show that really transcends their normal output and that was one of them, some other examples are the Boogie documentary watch party, the Destiny divorce, and the JFG potato murder Halloween special.

They seem to be gaining momentum from having guests on and getting exposure to new audiences, with recent streams being around 3-4k concurrent and especially the Steel Toe interview breaking 10k concurrent. I would say it's deserved, they've been consistent and taken criticism from this thread and made changes to improve the flow of the show (no more METOKUR MASOCHIST FOR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS in the middle of a thought). I will say Andy needs to setup OBS layouts for guests if they're going to be more frequent so he doesn't have to tinker with it right when they join in.

I've been a fan of the show for a while, and I'm really amazed how long it's stayed up. The thing with podcasts is consistency, and it's really cool seeing them take off like MATI. They even kind of followed the same format changes from episodic "Joker" episodes like MATI's Person streams starting out.

I think the thing that makes it work is that the "Straight Man" in the comedy duo is a retarded but enthusiastic guy. Combine that with a preacher as the "Funny Man", and you've got a winning formula. Amazed nobody has ever tried it before.

It's all improv, but really you couldn't pay SNL or anything on TV to be as funny as them sometimes. It all just seems kind of lazy as far as writing goes, but I guess two retards can put in more effort than television networks.

PPP does a better job keeping an interview interesting than a lot of TV personalities and journalists. And, having listened to older streams quite a bit lately to revisit the progression of the Rekieta drama, I actually think Andy has improved a bit lately compared to before. As much as I don't really like him he is admittedly a good foil for PPP.

They have an act now which I’d compare to Laurel and Hardy (and if you haven’t watched Laurel and Hardy check out Block Heads - fantastic movie).

They’re doing a fantastic job at being motivated commentators, and it’s easy to goof on podcasters but I couldn’t imagine doing 8 straight hours of talking and making the subjects interesting. And how they only take quick piss breaks is just amazing. I think for their own health they should at least do a 30 minute intermission per stream, maybe they do disappear for longer than I notice I just listen to them in the background.

But anyway the formula is working because they’re a developed a great chemistry. Nothing else I can really add to that they just need to keep correctly gauging the audiences reaction.

Not even ashamed to admit I’ve bought a couple subs. Even tempted to pay for their Gumroad to hear the Cucknada segment.

they managed to actually branch out of what all the other ibs shows did which is just trying to repeatedly harpoon their initial whale over and over.

They're worth more than the sum of their parts.

I've learned not to get too attached to anyone or anything in this sektur of the internet but it's good that we're developing some shows that could be thought of as resembling institutions. Just think of all the places Josh could have gone to air his thoughts or comment on a big happening only a few years ago; by now most of them have gone down in flames and through their own retarded antics more often than not.

All shock jocks burn out or fade away. I think Warski and PPP have a good chance in maintaining a lucrative cult following as long as they make sure the partnership feels fair to both of them and neither get delusional about themselves. They’re in a great state of mind recognizing that they’re comedians and so much of the Sektur was made up entertainers who got the faint whiff of adoration and then turned into weird cult leaders.

When will the casino close? Could be anywhere from this December to the year 2040 when it gets kinda awkward for two old men to be gossiping. Whatever it is best of luck to them. The internet needs more laughter and two dorks laughing about the internet is a good thing. I tried a minute of the Lolcow Podcast and that shit is unbearable like everything Boogie1488. Wings deserves better.

No harm in donating in my opinion, even if I do not. They are providing a service, of entertainment, which is plenty justification to give a tip. I never had a problem with people paying content creators for content, it's just that people need to be sure to stop paying once the service is no longer being provided. In Rekieta's case, he is no longer providing the entertainment his audience expects, so the water hose of money gets turned off.

If we added up the subs & adsense from Kino Casino, MATI, and lawtubers how much did they make? I think it’s in the 6 figure range. Nick deserves royalties.
