I just dealt with a hospitalized hoarder. She had so much stuff in her room that the nurses brought coffee boxes from the kitchen to contain it, had loads of stuff stashed under the bed, only wanted us to bring her 1 pair of pajamas and a bra and no other practical things. The nurses were trying to be nice to us but I could tell her antics were taxing for them.
