Didn't he do the same thing with Asterios? He said that he would help fund his countersuit against Maddox, totally gassed him up and then when it was time to pay lawyers he just... didn't. Then some time later Dax completely cut ties because of a screenshot of Asterios mentioning Marie's camwhoring days.

I remember at least one of the thumbnail artists talking about how hard it was to get Dax to cough up their pay, too. I think one of them even posted about it here on KF? IIRC, they only charged him $50, and had to nag him for weeks before he finally coughed up anything, and I think other artists just gave up.

I might be retarded, but can't that still be used against him I'm court? Sure, it would be harder to prove, but you've provided proof that you were at the graveyard and stated you committed the act.

If this does go to court, I'd be amazed if this tweet isn't brought up and used against him.

Not a lawyer. But even if he took a picture of the wet spot and said he peed there, it might not be enough since he could probably just claim he was acting tough online and really spilled his juice box there. But again, not a lawyer. Peeing on graves or not, it can at least be used in regard to the harassment claim. Being threatening. Something. He freaking drove to an ancestor's grave...why?!? Same goes with taking (or finding) a picture of July's house and posting it on Twitter. Pretty sure he said some tough guy stuff with that too (more harassment/threatening behavior).

It wasn’t even a lot, I think I saw maybe 3-4 images total when people were sperging out about it on Twitter. But yeah, a lot of people were acting like this was the worst thing to happen in comics ever: someone using a 3D image for a car and a chair.

I have an inkling the asset thing is or was more of an attempt to get July to dump his artist. Throw him under the bus. Something. Eric even said on someone's (forget the name, but the guy that runs Fund My Comic) stream when asked about it saying (paraphrasing), "Why should I punish the guy for doing what he was doing at DC/Marvel for years?"

Beyond that, I wish he'd get Caanan to do something other than some covers and whatnot. Perhaps he just likes not being tied down. But at the same time, I have to believe he's kicking himself for not at least doing the first one (pretty sure he was offered it first) and it then later getting put in Richards hands. Assuming Eric has a bonus scheme set up, the people that worked on it were probably happy once that first campaign ended.

This thread is going back and forth about Eric filing a lawsuit, but is there any legitimacy to that claim as yet? Idk if a lawsuit is really practical so much as pressing criminal charges for stalking/harassment.
