i had to go to patreon myself to verify it, but, between dick's own patreon and biggest problem in the universe podcast, dick still get approximately $28k per month. that was shocking to me at first. but if you think through the numbers, it makes a little more sense.
the total sum of supporters to his combine patreons are 7,816. divide that with $28k and you get $3.5 per person per month. dick has been around since the early 2000s with the dr. phil appearances and been with maddox in the late 2000s, so his core audience is older millennials or young gen-xers. in current year, that group has stable incomes and $3.50 per month is a drop in the bucket to them.
this demographic grew up on shock jock radio and were into internet culture of the late 1990s to early 2000s. however, dick's audience were not normie howard stern fan types, who enjoyed the over-the-top but radio friendly antics. dick's audience were more into exploitive stuff you can only find in the internet 1.0. young people typically grow out of this phase, once they get older in life, but some do not. perhaps, the people who are still on patreon did not move on in life, and enjoy dicks antics with his crew of misfits. in fact, most of his audience probably think it is funny that the retard reily got tossed into jail or mint salad is too stupid to get herself back to her hotel.
i agree that dick does not have new engagement, which means his audience will not grow but dick still has $28k per month patreon. also, if the cutties incident does not drive his core patreon audience away, nothing will.
