As someone with occasional feet issues I strongly recommend the getting fat option instead of deliberately fucking with your feet.
I mean, the latter will contribute to the former, but you only need to be ineligible for brief periods.

EDIT: If you are asking for any imminent advice, good lord nothing's even been announced. Don't go hitting the Breyer's and researching pasta dishes just yet.

I really am conflicted on this. I just know this is going to be a disaster. Whether it's watching from the sidelines or being a part of it. I am laughing my ass off just thinking about it. We truly live in clown world.

I’m worried that with the current obesity rate they don’t give a shit about being too fat. I may have to adopt the Andrew Ditch strategy and be insufferable. I’ll go out and buy some cubensis shrooms along with diapers and permanently disassociate while watch Andy’s streams.

There’s also the option of just going along with it but being really bad at your job. Jerry Garcia joined up and realized it wasn’t a fit, so he just politely said he was sorry when he screwed up. Things would have to pass through our miasma of a legislature and then actually have a situation where the executive actually calls for a draft (which hasn't happened in 50 some years now and would be hard af to sell and difficult to make effective anyways) before it merits a happenings thread.
Fuck, I expect some kind of cockamammie scheme to offer mass amnesty for service happens before a draft, there's just certain chickenhawk retards in Congress who want to make damn sure the option is there while the pentagon keeps crying about how they can't hit recruitment targets.

Given the absolute state of American politics and the fact that the Senate has it lined up already expecting it to go through the House. I’m thinking it might be over and the fact that they’ve never been able to hit recruitment targets is a good enough reason to dust off an imminent draft. Either way it’s a smart vote by republicans because they either win by sending a dissolute generation to die for Good Goys™ or this leads to increased support towards Trump in attempt to steer course.
