Dude, I'd barely trust those interceptors to even be able to stop a small North Korean ICBM attack, much less SSBNs and ICBMs that would come in mass amounts, with MIRVs, from China.

Just think about it. If just 2 or 3 China missiles got through from the SLBM or ICBMs it would be the worst disaster in American history that would make all the rest of its disasters and wars combined seem like the good ol' days.

Not having this as a result, the exchanges going hardcore would be very hard to contain between Russia, China, and USA. And UK/France has enough each to wipe out enough each to deter as well. The only situation of nukes that is likely that might not spread much would be between India and Pakistan, and that would be iffy. I'm a believer in MAD. I think after 9/11 we should've nuked some sand niggers. But going after another well armed country in a first strike without a rock solid missile defense is suicidal, and we don't have one.
