2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

Maybe I'm just out of the loop but why haven't I seen more footage of Hamas fighters getting exploded by drones compared to Ukraine? Is the urban fighting not suitable for it?
I heard you were looking for some IDF drone footage šŸ˜

(Not my video. Posted to telegram last month. I'm fairly certain this video has not been posted here before.)

It was posted before as I distinctly remember the catching of the drone at end. Can't say it was in this thread or the other, but def on the Farms somewhere.

Either way, great vid, worth a second look!

Bibi have gone "fuck it" and disbanded the war cabinet:

This is totally unsurprising. I actually didn't think the war cabinet would last this long. I expected it to be disbanded like a month or two ago.
The differences between the various factions and coalitions of the Israeli government are irreconcilable. There's no way they could work together after passions died down following Oct. 7.

Let's see if Israel will have upcoming elections after Netanyahu disbanded the war cabinet.

Netanyahu disbands Israel's War Cabinet

By David Rubin

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu's recent decision to dissolve the six-member war cabinet marks a significant shift in the nation's approach to its ongoing conflicts. The move, following the departure of centrist former general Benny Gantz from the government, allows Netanyahu unprecedented freedom in appointing his war cabinet -- a development that could reshape to reshape Israel’s military and strategic posture.

Netanyahu’s previous war cabinet, formed at the outset of the Gaza war in October, was a product of political compromise. It included figures like Gantz and Gadi Eisenkot, who brought a left-of-center perspective to the coalition, along with ultra-Orthodox yet left-leaning Aryeh Deri as an observer. The presence of these figures often led to a diluted and fragmented approach to Israel’s security strategy, with various political agendas influencing critical decisions.
With the exit of Gantz and Eisenkot, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer are expected to play increasingly pivotal rules in advising Netanyahu, adhering to his center-right approach of balancing American pressure against the demands of his more right-wing coalition partners. This reshuffling allows Netanyahu to navigate internal political dynamics more effectively. Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, nationalist-religious figures within Netanyahu’s coalition, had previously demanded inclusion in the war cabinet -- a move that could have exacerbated tensions with international partners, including the United States. By maintaining a focused inner circle of advisors, Netanyahu hopes to avoid internal challenges from his right-wing coalition partners.

While Netanyahu’s internal political challenges have been mitigated, his biggest obstacle now comes from the Biden administration. The current U.S. administration has often been at odds with Netanyahu’s policies, particularly regarding Israel’s approach to Gaza and its broader security measures. The Biden administration's attempts to influence Israeli policy have at times, hampered Netanyahu’s ability to act decisively against threats.

User @hawtdoq of the site watchpeopledie.tv has made a great post about recent IDF activity so I'm just going to repost it here if you don't mind.

IDF troops are continuing precise, intelligence-based, operational activity in the Rafah area, eliminating numerous terrorists over the past day in various close-quarters encounters. In one of the encounters, the troops identified two terrorists armed with an explosive device, and an IDF aircraft eliminated the terrorists.

Furthermore, during searches in the area, the troops located weapons including AK-47s and grenades.

Operational activity continues in the central Gaza Strip, where the troops are operating against terrorist infrastructure and eliminating terrorists in close-quarters combat.

In one activity, the commander of an Islamic Jihad sniper cell was eliminated by an IDF fighter jet with the direction of IDF ground troops. Additionally, the troops identified and eliminated a terrorist cell that approached and posed a threat to them.

Over the past day, the IAF has continued to strike dozens of terror targets throughout the Gaza Strip. In one strike, IAF fighter jets eliminated two terrorists who posed a threat to the troops.

Additionally, Israeli Naval forces multiple terror targets in the Rafah area in order to assist IDF ground troops operating in the area.

The soldiers of the 401st Brigade Combat Team have been operating in recent days against the Tel al-Sultan Battalion in the Rafah area under the command of the 162nd Division. The soldiers of the brigade are destroying militant infrastructure and eliminating dozens of armed militants in above and below ground encounters, in precise, intelligence-based, targeted operations.

During the troops activity in the area, the soldiers of the 932nd Battalion encountered three armed militants. At the direction of the soldiers in the field and the brigade's Fire Control Center, an IAF aircraft struck the militants and eliminated them.

Immediately after, the troops raided and cleared the buildings from which the terrorists came out of.

The soldiers eliminated militants who fired rockets and mortar shells at the troops. In addition, they located grenades, arms, and short-range anti-tank missiles.

Do actual Gazans hate these drops, or is the opposition to them an influencer kinda thing?
Like on twitter it sounds like the US air force is conducting a terror bombing campaign against the people of Palestine, but these same accounts complain about famine.

This post makes me angry af. "Victims of Capitalism Memorial Foundation" bitches about free aid that's no doubt being paid for by the American taxpayer, and blames capitalism for the FREE aid being delivered in the wrong way.
If the "starving" Gazans want free aid delivered the right way, maybe they should ask China, Cuba, or North Korea. I'm sure they'd all excitedly line up to give away free stuff to a wartorn shithole that's run by terrorists who will end up stealing all the aid anyway.

It's a Pysop, no one that is hungry, and especially in a situation like the one in Gaza, is going to be against receiving any sort of Humanitarian ration/MRE, the Gazans do probably hate that they have to beg/pawn/buy it off from Hamas and any other armed groups that take control of the drops once they hit the ground.

How else are the air forces involved supposed to drop the aid? Do they think that those pallets/bags are laser-guided? Besides the pier is fucked, there is no other way.

Biden's handlers are walking the whole farce back now and spinning it as "pressuring Israel" to save face:

Dennis Prager makes the case that the ā€˜Palestinians’ are worse than the Nazis

By Andrea Widburg

The norm on the left is to say directly or indirectly that everyone who opposes the left is a Nazi. Dennis Prager has gone one step further when it comes to the people of Gaza and the West Bank. According to Prager, these people are actually worse than the Nazis. Prager doesn’t mean that they are more efficiently effective than the Nazis because they’re not. What he means is that, when you are looking at a complete moral abyss in which only sadism, hatred, and death live, even the Nazis couldn’t compete with the Gazans and West Bankians.* And you know what? Prager has a point.

Prager’s essay is here, and I urge you to read the whole thing. His opening premise is that, unlike the so-called Palestinians, the Nazis knew that what they were doing was wrong and tried to hide their crimes. The Palestinians, however, are proud of what they’re doing. From that starting point, Prager explains that one can conclude as a general matter that ā€œ[m]orally speaking, it would be difficult to name a less impressive people than the Palestinians over the past century.ā€ That’s a polite understatement.
To see how bad they are, one needs to start long before October 7 and, indeed, long before Israel’s founding, an event today’s so-called Palestinians use to justify all their atrocities. Prager walks his readers through how the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Husseini, was one of Hitler’s most enthusiastic supporters.

What fucking aid do they need? How much more does Israel fucking need from America that we aren’t and haven’t been giving since it’s founding? They’re fighting nothing but irregular infantry in a space smaller than most major cities, what specific fucking aid do they require for that job do they assume we owe them? Either level the entire area with bombs and artillery or sacrifice the lives required to eliminate the fighters and process the women and children by hand. Do we literally need to send our men to go room to room and die killing their enemy because their little soldiers are too precious to spend doing the needful?

Israel's air force can't operate the way it does without US aid.
