He is very distressed in this post because the author won't tell him what to think and he has been encouraged to formulate his own ideas about the book.
This genre of posts always get the most likes, because how else are we supposed to show that blacks read too, and therefore the reading "community" (it feels so stupid to even refer to people who read novels as a "community") is diverse! They did the same with knitting, every featured designer/crafter had to be black and/or a tranny, because something about breaking barriers.
