As someone else said, to give grace where it's due, Nick is publicly taking the absolute furthest position of admitting any sort of guilt in both a criminal and CPS investigation. Obviously, in any pending investigation you don't want give the state anything that can be used against you (which is why avoiding any and all streaming would be his smartest move). The problem is, in attempt to not appear guilty, by straight up lying, can also be used against him. Don't admit to anything, don't lie about anything, better yet, don't say anything at all; but Nick can't help himself.
He complains that people are telling him he needs to prioritize his public image online (which he equates to apologizing and thus admitting guilt), but one thing Nick is correct on, that should be at the bottom of his list of concerns, which is why he shouldn't be streaming. However his cope is just digging his public image into a deeper and deeper hole. He needs to realize that the simplest explanation is usually the correct one and trying to say otherwise is serving no benefit to him.
- Is Aaron lying? Possible. Is he embellishing? Also possible. He's a piece of shit and a clout chaser. This is probably the only thing Nick could possibly be correct on.
- Is the CPS agent Alisha Sweep lying? Why would she lie? Is your home being a mess and your children hungry and dirty is just because she doesn't have the full story?
- Multiple cops also said the home was a mess and multiple cops witness drugs in the home. Are they all lying? Did they plant the coke? Why would they do that? If they didn't plant the coke, is them finding coke is because they don't know what it's like to be an e-celeb?
- Does Judge Fischer have a reason to biased against Nick? Possible, she's human, and Nick hasn't exactly been kind to her.
- Do the people of the community have beef with Nick? Possible, but whose fault is that? If Judge Fischer is anything to go by, it's probably Nick being toxic to people. However, it seems the community's concerns were valid because drugs were found in the home, the kids were hungry and dirty, and we can also see Nick is a menace on the road. Maybe it was those Scandinavian prudes that planted the coke in Nick's home and made his house messy.
- Nick not only lost weight, but has aged a good 10 years in less than a single one. On top of that, we've seen Nick drunk, we know what he looks like when he's had too much, but we also know when it's more than just alcohol, because we have plenty of evidence of just being drunk. I guess we just don't know the real story behind his behavior. Can't possibly be the planted drugs in his home that made him act like he was drugged out, maybe the cops and the prudes secretly spiked his bottles of whiskey. We obviously can't know the full story.
- 80% of Nick's viewers has seen the changes in him, and we started noticing not long after he started on his coke journey, but surely we're all under a mass delusion and Nick is at his peak performance. We're all wrong and can't know the real story.
- Many of Nick's online friends, that reached out, asked if he's okay; they're all under the same mass delusion as his viewers. Surely they have more insight in his life than we do, but they still can't know what it's like to be more famous than all of them.
- Surely Kayla's family hates Nick and they're in cahoots with the cops and the prudes to take down the menace that is Nick Rekieta. Then again, none of them can know what's it like to be a world famous streamer.
- Testing their 9 year-old's hair. The test is lying. Surely they didn't do it against a control and surely they didn't retest to verify the results. The techs and the machines are lying and conspiring against Nick. Is it possible he requests another test and it comes back clean? Sure. But why won't Nick and Kayla submit for testing? Surely they have nothing to hide, the coke was planted, it's not his, he would never partake in a substance that makes him lose weight, neglect your children, make you look like you've aged 10 years in nine months, and makes you act like your on coke. So your test will come back clean and you can have your kids back. You can't submit to testing because they can't know the context, this complicated story that makes everything listed above okay.
Out of all those things, Nick is probably correct about two things; Judge Fischer being biased and Aaron at worst lying or at best embellishing the truth.
Maybe the simplest explanation is that you missed out on your youth, you regret that, and now you have money, fame, and clout, and you want to have a little fun. Nothing wrong with that in theory. The kids can manage themselves now, they're all old enough to have some independence. You splurge, you experiment, and you had fun and it made you feel cool, because we all know you've never felt "cool" in your youth. You got to have the sexual freedom and partying you missed out on in your college years. But, like your drinking, you took it too far, and it affected your personal relationships, your family, and your career.
What's the simplest explanation? A mass conspiracy that the local government, the cops, CPS, and the prudes are all in on... or you just went too far?
