I guess we should have taken Nick at his word when he said we didn't know the full story when it comes to his legal strategy. We assumed he was just a neglectful cokefiend swinger, but he is the only person who knows exactly what he did.

I think there’s two timelines that are possible.

It's covered in the thread Null linked above but the results were in the concentration range of regular recreational use, not incidental exposure. She either got into it one time and had a single really high exposure that Nick just had her wait out at home instead of going to the hospital or he and Kayla were knowingly providing it to her for God knows why.

The writing was on the wall with the Monty trial, he's effectively already lost that case but is persisting through shear egotism. At this point he should just be paying Monty 50 grand to fuck off, maybe throw in an extra 25 to avoid having to make an apology. Instead Nick is hiding behind the constitution for his right to make claims that someone is a serial child molester without any evidence whatsoever, a losing position in front of any reasonable jury.

Nick seems to be following a similar path with his Criminal trial but with some Grand Conspiracy involving CPS, the local cops, Judge Vagina Liquor and perhaps even the Biden administration thrown in. When you immediately jump to the constitution instead of focusing on local law for your defence then it's a sign that you're in a seriously bad position.
