I wonder how his mom feels of even reacts whenever he calls her and yells about winning big. She has to know better than anyone that it's gonna be gone in the next hour. You think she even reacts anymore or it doesn't register after so many times. Or do you think that somehow there's a tiny bit of hope In the back of her head this time that maybe, MAYBE, he keeps some of that money?

I like to imagine the dad knows it's never gonna happen but the mom is deluding herself that at some point. He will keep the money and something will change but every time it gets harder and harder.

Bossmans luck is insane, any other person would likely have gone bankrupt a while ago
Lol, lmao even

He's gone bankrupt probably 500 times in the last year alone

His mom is extremely delusional and coping hard about him on a daily basis, and as far as we know she is the sole reason he's allowed to live at his parents house rent free

He makes obscene amounts of money in some of these and there's never a moment where he tells himself he just has to stop, it's always about chasing the next win
I might be talking out of my ass, but I think this is how it works:

To win big you need to play a lot;
To play a lot you need to be a gamba king;
Gamba kings don't quit when they're ahead, and they don't quit they lose either.

The personality required to get to the point where you run up that much is exactly the same that will make you squander it as soon as you get it.

Accidentally posted in the mati thread but I will ask here as well.
I am curious about the car lore. Why does he pick the Honda Civic and Range Rover? It seems so random, has he ever elaborated on this?

Civic because there was a cheap one for sale and he liked the car model iirc

IDK about the RR, I think that was just a meme cause he's making so much now he shouldn't settle for a used Civic

Null just change the message in featured from 150k to 200k. That's a whole 2 new Honda Civics he gamba'd away.

His room is so devoid of any personality. Like no pics on the walls just nothing but his computer and a curtain where a door used to be and a pic his parents brought in the room to try and cover the hole.
I cannot believe they gave HIM the Master Bedroom

If they won't kick him out, are they just waiting for him or themselves to die and the nightmare to end? Or waiting for a miracle?
I've seen that, with drug addicts though. Generally speaking kicking them out won't help, so parents tend to want and suffer through it with them. It's not like sleeping rough will help him and they surely know he isn't stable enough to pay rent. They are, in a very real sense, waiting for a miracle.
Luckily my IRL has been clean for several years and her parents' trouble justified itself through that.

On a side note, Austin is the kind of cow I'd like to see reformed, but he's too shitty a human being, gambling notwithstanding, for me not to laugh when he gets fucked.

Let’s lose it all.
Im confused did he win 200k or 80k? The clips are 80k unless I'm missing something.
He withdrew 35k and 170k and then deposited it all back again in 5k 10k 15k and 25k increments.

I saw a live on screen balance on screen of 190k at one point but it was so volatile it could’ve been more than that at some point.

Welcome to BossmanJack.

He does have pictures on the wall, pictures of his young self to your left of the screen above the holes, when you're able to see it. He also is not in the master bedroom. Master bedroom has more space, direct bathroom, bigger closest, and most importantly a lock to keep Bossman out during normal sleep hours. Prior to him, the sale of the property, his room was used for 3 girls below 12, but of out-of-cradle age.

I urge you to check out the preview listings for that house. Then compare the crack dungeon to what was once a, theoretical, clean and organized family.

In all fairness my bedroom where I only sleep has fuckall on the walls and just basic furniture but I don't spend 25 hours a day in there otherwise I'd hang a picture or two.

He talked about it when he had a lot of money yesterday after calling his parents.
"I am going to buy a car, haven't had a car in two years, what do you think of a Range Rover? I like those Range Rover, I'm going to buy a Range Rover"

Then he proceeded to keep gambling.

His room is FULL OF PERSONALITY!!! He had a lovely picture on the wall that looked like an old renaissance map... but he broke it in a crack rage. Oh, he also had a sports jersey hanging on the wall... but he tore it down in a crack rage. He had a lovely door... but he smashed a silouette out of it like Wile E Coyote being rocketed into a cliff-side.

Actually, in all fairness, his room displays LOADS of his personality just out of the camera frame. The tard-rage holes he smashed by his desk, the shattered dish fragments in his carpet, the paper plates with the decaying food scattered on his floor. And don't forget the pristine garbage can so clean you could eat out of it. I'm guessing they gave him that room because it's over the garage and it was an attempt to try and isolate his noise a bit. And if Ratdad would just install a proper steel fire door instead of those hollow-core pieces of shit, maybe they'd get a bit of sound insulation (and it would be hilarious to see Bossman attempt to punch/kick his way through it exactly once).

I think he had made about 35k or something and tried to withdraw it, then the remaining little bit he left in the site he managed to run up to 170k. And after losing a small chunk (relatively speaking), he withdrew 140k and kept a bit in the site (10k? That would explain the 150k number). So he withdrew 175k, but technically had 200k for a short time.
