Multiple people shot during Juneteenth celebration in Oakland

Multiple people were shot during a Juneteenth celebration near Lake Merritt in Oakland on Wednesday night, the Oakland Police Department confirmed.

In a statement released on Thursday morning, the department said the shooting began just after 8:45 p.m. Until about 8:15 p.m., the unauthorized event with a crowd of as many 5,000 people had been mostly peaceful.

Then, police said, "an illegal sideshow involving vehicles and motorbikes occurred near Grand Avenue and Bellevue Avenue. A short time later, a fight broke out, and as the crowd headed towards the altercation, multiple shots were fired. Officers located several victims who were struck by the gunfire."

Several victims were transported to the hospital and no fatalities have been reported at this time. Police also said that during the incident some people "punched and pushed officers, resulting in minor injuries."

No arrests have been made and it remains unknown whether there was a single shooter or multiple shooters involved in the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the OPD Felony Assault Unit at (510) 238-3426.

The first time I even heard of Juneteenth was when a Latino who drove his car into a Juneteenth celebration got his ass shot.

Now, TBF, it does beg the question of how is it that niggers keep getting guns in the biggest gun control state. Obiviously through Black market connections, but what is the Black Market exactly? Cartel influence is mostly in the desert where they have their weed farms, but the guns niggers have aren't all that bad or cheap when above board. Maybe Oakland politicians that know cracking down on gun crime will fuck with their constituents, but someone's got to be working the logistics end too. We might have to suspect gun shop businesses too because of how over-regulated they are in California. Selling guns above board is like buying a car, meaning purchases are uncommon, but they have a massive stock in storage. Asians and White Liberals, who are the ones you can reasonably assume to have no criminal record, don't typically buy guns and gun accessories. So what's an over regulated business to do with a lot of supply, but a strangulated number of legitimate customers. Well, to get rid of surplus, they could illegally sell guns to niggers at just above cost and be reasonably certain they won't snitch. After all, niggers have already no love for the law and their culture legitimately hates snitching.
