Between working, working out and gambling, does Glenn even spend any time at home except when it’s time to crash out? We don’t ever seem them doing anything together anymore.
You really think Glenn wants to be around a toddler, an infant, and a spud?

You really think a father worth his salt doesn't want to be around his children?

I get it with Luna. She is really limited in her ability to connect with Glenn, but above all things, he should want to be with his family, especially the members that need him so much: Robyn, Atlas, and Woody.

If he’s not a piece of shit, yes.

I think limited is being very generous; she’s simply not able to. But he still has two sentient sons and a wife who needs help.

She can be comfortable or uncomfortable, and Glenn can contribute or not. Having a child who isn't capable of thought or much feeling beyond maybe some sensation doesn't mean Glenn gets to be callous. And his wife wants to believe Luna has some awareness. If two minutes of interaction brings Robyn joy and he loves her, he'll do it. She's their first child, and she will not live forever. How he interacts with Luna may determine the outcome of their marriage, and that shapes the outcome of those boys.

You can call me a pussy ass faggot about it if you want. You won't be the first or the last, and I might be, but I also speak the truth.

I don't think Glenn has any ill-will towards any of the kids, but we also know he's not exactly the most attentive parent. Plus he pitches fits about the less fun parts of parenting like changing diapers. I could definitely see him preferring gamba to watching a toddler and baby.

Agree. Much as we've speculated from time to time about him pulling a Chris Watts, I don't think he will. I think he knows it's just a matter of time until Luna dies and is just waiting it out, in the kindest sense. He probably does love her but doesn't know how to connect with her (or the boys, while they're too young to engage with his gay gym bullshit).

I suspect once she goes to the great potato patch in the sky and the boys are older we will see him engaging a bit more with family life but that for now he's happy to stay hands-off and let Robyn do the active parenting while he pulls in the household income, such as it is.

Robyn states Luna was sick and though everyone said its a shunt issue she completely knows it had to be a UTI.

UTI, just five year old things.

I wonder what signs Luna gives when she is sick that anybody can notice. Robyn makes it sound like she’s a normal child who cries, doesn’t sleep and is in discomfort, but that’s her imagination.I doubt to us she’d look any different. And if she isn’t uncomfortable with that huge blight growing on her face, I’m not sure an infection will make her uncomfortable

Is it fever, or diaper changes?

Interesting, she’s been on hospice all this time.

I smell bullshit. This is from Yale Medicine:

The only symptoms on that list that Robyn could have detected on her own are foul-smelling urine and fever. Mostly everything else would need to be communicated to her by Luna, which we know isn't happening. So is she really saying that with foul-smelling urine and a fever, the medical people who came to her house wouldn't think Luna might have a UTI based on that? I think Robyn is trying super hard to push this narrative that all the medical people are dumb and she is this bright, shining, warrior of an advocate for her daughter who is smarter than educated medical staff. I think she's full of shit that she had to pester the medical people to agree that it could be a UTI. "yOu KnOw uR cHiLd bEsT" - shut the fuck up, Robyn.

A bit of a tinfoil theory here, but if Luna is indeed on medical Hospice (she could be receiving nonmedical/volunteer Hospice support which works differently), she wouldn't be eligible to receive "life-saving" interventions. People on medical Hospice can receive treatments if the idea is to relieve pain/increase quality of life rather than simply prolong life.

UTIs are a very common thing that does get treated for Hospice patients, since they hurt if the patient is conscious. Shunt surgery is likely not going to be part of a Hospice plan, and I am going to guess that Robyn was very gently told that they may want to just make her comfortable and let her pass, and Globyn flipped out.

Technically people can go on and off of medical Hospice all they want - Globyn could rescind Hospice to get Luna whatever surgery, IF someone was willing to do it, and put her back on it at any point - but you do run the risk of pissing off doctors and insurance if you do that (and, when you go OFF of Hospice, you lose any sweet sweet painkillers they were giving you).

It's hugely 🌈, but I am hoping that the doctors were correct that it's a shunt issue, and that antibiotics won't do much ("sure, give her some antibiotics, why not?"), and Luna will soon slip peacefully into forever sleep.
