"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

I think it is chicken... it´´s pretty easy to cook to the right temperature a fish and it doesn´t need to maintain temp for too long to be perfect. If you miss the ideal temp of chicken, you are left with dry, unedible shit.
Sous vide steak is the pleb trap, eggs, chicken, deserts, confections. I bet like 90% of home sous vide are never used where they really shine.

Haven't done most of those yet, but crème brulée is super easy and great, although you need that goofy little torch.
Breeding bacterial colonies?
Where do people get this mentally retarded, scientifically illiterate idea? The temps for rare and up for steak are exactly the same whether done on a skillet, a grill, or sous vide.

Probably doesn't actually cook. I've never gotten sick from sous vide and I've been doing it for decades. I also board dress my steaks so the heat from the pan doesn't damage the flavours of my herbs and spices I may use. Saw one "professional" chef on Youtube that never heard of that. I'd hate to taste his steaks.

If you dont reach pasteurization (time x temp) and some cross contamination before going to the bag, it could be an issue; but it´s rarely a problem. Most of the contaminants on meat are on the surface, so you sterilize it pretty quickly on a grill. Heston Blumenthal had a problem related to meat temp, if I´m not mistaken...

You can also sear the meat before going to the bath, btw, it makes it crusting after faster and give some flavor to the jus in the bag.

Protein denatures at 107 or so, well below any recommended temperature for steak. I guarantee two hours at 130 is going to kill anything you need to worry about unless you're eating BSE beef or some shit. Also unlike the skillet, it will be uniformly that temperature in every part of the meat. You won't have some weird cold patch that is still somehow infected, even though it is extremely unlikely to be infected on the inside in the first place, and if it's on the outside and somehow survives two hours at 130, a 500 degree skillet is going to kill that shit instantly when you sear.

Can use a heat gun.

Vegetables are great as well if you like to preserve their consistency. Mushroom are awesome on sous vide.

Edit: I agree most sous vide that demands a little more time to cook are ok, but skillets are more effective in sterilizing because the contamination is almost always superficial and cooking time is pretty quick, cold spots dont make much difference. I dont subscribe the microbiological scare but it can be a problem if you are very careless.

I dislike how news oriented the show has become, the decay of the Kali Yuga is beneath an enlightened one like me, I just want to hear about lolcow kino. Some huge happening will happen with a lolcow Josh likes and he just goes over it as fast as possible and goes to the next thing, but he spergs for like 50 minutes about some boring new tranny or England news. The show has become an hour and a half of news, twenty minutes of lolcow kino, and an hour and thirty minutes of super chats.

I still like the show because Josh is funny, but I wish it was more lolcow/farms related rather then ragebait cringe news shit.
I made this same point months ago and I only watch the replays so I can skip the news and tranny bits. I think Josh just wants to get on his political rants and I don't really blame him for that because he has a good perspective but it's not really for me, I'm just here to laugh. It lines up with how a lot of the Community Happenings are about pedophiles or monkey fuckers, it's good to have it in the light but not funny. When it's something like Rittenhouse or abortion being overturned the josh coverage is real kino imo, but those are big happenings. There's other good lolcow shows you can check out like Kino Casino, 2 High 4 Funny, French Fried Gorl covers Chantal, there are others I'm sure.

One thing that surprised me was basmati rice. It held in the aromatic component of the rice instead of just dissipating it out via evaporation, so the rice ends up retaining a lot more of that flavor. I assume jasmine rice would turn out well this way too.
Kino Casino
My main problem is PPP mixes in facts with exaggerations and literally made-up bullshit. If you're depending on this show for information you'll end up with a lot of bullshit in your head backed up by no actual dox.

Josh, mentioned in regards to F1NN5TER that because he has a couple 100k views on some YouTube Shorts that he must be making a ton of money from his YouTube channel.
This is heavily overestimated, I make a living off of YouTube Shorts specifically, here is how much money I made off of one short with 2.3 million views (More than F1nn5ters most viewed short at 1.7m)

Here is a short which did particularly bad for me at 147k views, but is much more in line with the viewership of F1NN5TERS shorts.

It is entirely possible he runs the channel at a loss, but I doubt it still, as the long form videos will for sure earn enough to justify it's existence, though not nearly as profitable as his Twitch, which doesn't have the prerequisite of editing, or effort.

I used to watch TDS (The Daily Shoah) like a decade ago when I was in my edgy teenager phase, they're really out of touch boomers obsessed with specifically jews.
There used to be a third one that does a news segment called the Merchant Minute, but last I saw he was ranting on twitter about how latina women are better than white women.
Also he lives in Ireland apparently.
