The key factor of MLMs (pyramid schemes) - those circles close fast. It just becomes you and your friends trying to sell water filters to each other. Everyone ends up resenting each other.

Tried to read the "Noosphere" article. Emphasis on "tried."

It is incomprehensible. Not because it is gibberish or even Francis Dec-ish, but because I haven't heard of 95% of what is discussed. I'm familiar with Christianity, "transhumanism," eugenics, and Rudolph Steiner, but beyond this I struggled to grasp whatever the fuck this was talking about.
