Not certain about Scottish laws on divorce, because Scotland has to be special and have their own laws on things within the Uk.
English law on divorce however is not as arse raping as American laws typically.


Assuming though Scottish divorce law is close to English divorce law.
He certainly would be expected to take care financially of the children till they are 18.
The wife though, she would have a fair bit more work to do to get him to actually support her directly.
To my knowledge, assets and things they accumulated in the marriage he would have to share and she might get some alimony depending on other reasons, but these days the courts expect the woman to be self supporting and not just automatically assume their ex husband is obligated to keep them in a lifestyle.

If Dankula said something like he refuses that the kids go into childcare until they are at school etc then he would have to pay her.
If she turns out to have an independent income, then he is free of that though.
If he is cool with childcare or makes arrangements for it, looks after the kids himself with parental or relatives supporting him, pays for a twink nanny, whatever, then ex wife will be free to fuck off and find a job.

It’s not as clear cut as I understand it to be in the US anyway.
