I'm not really seeing too many success stories with this slop, in fact every game filled with it seems to be a complete laughing stock and total write off. The only ones that did well were coasting on the legacy of huge non-videogame brands

Even the ones that "did well" were a flash in the pan. Spider-Man 2 did gangbusters on release because no one has any reason to think the game wouldn't be as good as the first. Then people actually started playing and suddenly gaming "journalists" were scrambling to tell everyone that only incels thought MJ (traditionally Peter Parker's *supermodel* girlfriend/wife) was ugly and in fact you're a Nazi for suggesting no one wants to play a deaf bitch making art in their superhero simulator. Literally no one talked about that game after the first month beyond all the shit parts about it.

Problem is that market is white guys for the most part, and I think its tipping further right to the point a black man can go fuck himself. It was bound to happen really, the endless racial jibbing was always going to result in more bitter relations. Which is good.

Who is "they"? SBI? Larry Finks hairy balls? Kotaku? Grummz doesn't even know himself or he would say who he is talking about. "They" means absolutely fucking nothing.

And how does he know what "they" did to him?

My guess: Del Walker got spooked by the anti SBI folks and decided to stfu. He was complaining about giving anti wokists ammunition after the initial xeet. The negative attention he got was probably too much for him.

I am going insane reading some of the replies here. For context, the discussion post links a r/KotakuInAction post , which in turn, discusses Upper Echeleon's video talking about the alleged extortion attempt by SBI against Game Science.

Spoiler alert, quite a few folks on KiA, and Upper Echelon, think the rumor is just a heap of bullshit that distracts from legitimate problems with SBI.
