My neezy, what do you think happens to a business that doesn't work out? You call it a wash, liquidate the assets, and move on to your next venture. Trump has done all kinds of wacko nonsense like a steak company, his university, he's selling sneakers now? I'm surprised he doesn't have dozens of these weird companies that folded in bankruptcy, to be honest.

Also, I'm no corporate accountant, but I know there are special rules for how assets get sold and who gets paid in what order during a bankruptcy. I could see him lending one of his businesses money from a central corporation, and if he declares bankruptcy he gets to pay "himself" back as a high priority so he doesn't even lose that much cash.

It's really all about getting more favorable terms on loan repayment schedules and shifting assets around. It's incredibly common, especially with huge corporations.

People often think a business venture has to be 100% in order to be successful. They'd probably answer with "Trump threatened to kill them" or something.

Note that this never works. The left expects 100% Ws, 100% compliance, all the time, or else. The worldview they're trained in literally teaches them that this is the nature of the world -- to constantly "make progress." They were very smart to install those fences.

This used to be the case, but there has been a large rift growing between the rank and file members and the union bosses. The fact that The head of the teamsters is willing to speak at a Trump thing makes me think a check didn't clear.

Who would give him information at this point thats hes made a deal with the feds and also we live in a world where Google and Facebook censor in real time at government behest. Even if he did leak it wouldnt have the power it used too.

Hell the Panama papers, Epstein "suicide", and Biden laptop prove their info control.

When Jimmy Hoffa, Jr. was in charge he started making overtures towards the Republicans, especially during the Trump years, to hedge the union's bets. This is just the latest stage of a long, slow process that's seeing the blue-collar workers and tradesmen shift Republican in response towards the Dems catering towards the illegals and educated urbanites.

A similar thing happened in the UK with Conservatives finally breaking the infamous "Red Wall" of the North thanks to Labour being a worse version of the modern Democrats. Naturally, they pissed it all away since they're a worse version of the modern Republicans.

You can't collect union dues if all your members have been laid off.

Yeah, the UAW boys are figuring out that the big 3 only agreed to their insane demands because the jobs are just moving overseas and to Mexico anyway. Incidentally, my boss got fired today. If you've never seen a team being told to keep working the same day their boss gets the boot, it's disturbing.
I'm a sociopath, so I can keep it up as long as the checks clear, but the other guys...

To create a bronze statue, a full-sized wax model is often made, because that's easy tho shape. This is then encased in a clay-like substance, that dries, the wax is molten, poured out and then the hollow clay mould gets filled with molten metal.
I could imagine somebody fucked up when ordering the statue. Maybe the artist said which part they'll make - the metal casting is usually outsouced to a foundry. But some clueless city planner didn't read or understand and set out the wax model in the park.
But sadly, it was designed by an artist who specializes in art that doesn't last. It's supposed to get destroyed and supposedly has wicks to burn it down.
