Dr. Disrespect permanently banned from Twitch - Turns out he was a groomer

Only one person is claiming he was sexting a minor. The other accuser, an anonymous accuser, only mentioned:
1. Messaging a minor
2. Twitch acting after an extended period of time after the messages occurred, with no specific date range provided

Obviously, you don't do this either. Directly messaging your fans about meetups is just an unnecessary activity. Assuming this is the case, it showcases an appearance of impropriety and likely violated some kind of Twitch rules. Worst case scenario being that they did in fact meet up and have sexual contact. Best case being it was something innocuous like "come to the booth at TwitchCon while I'm doing signings!" You also have all the middle-grounds where the conversation started on Twitch, moved off-app from Twitch DMs to something like Discord or Instagram, and from there Twitch bans him but can't actually prove anything happened off-platform.

There's just enough wiggle room that you could either condemn Doc or not, and I wouldn't blame you either way.

But Twitch really comes out of this looking like shit.

That's partially why I think Twitch also went quiet after settling this and likely made sure their employees signed NDAs that prevented them from discussing this openly. This happened on their platform almost right after the guy signed an exclusive contract with Twitch, which likely opened them up to all sorts of legal issues if this ever got out. Even if it was as innocuous as meeting a fan, the optics of "The Face of Twitch" having private messages with a minor just screams PR Apocalypse for Twitch.

So let the get this straight, this Cody faggot has been trying to sell tickets to his shitty band for over a year and a half if the shows his shitty band was playing would sell out he would drop the reason why Dr Disrespect was banned.

Now the big reveal is a just tweet that's literally just 'trust me bro'.

Allegation is Twitch dropped him because he was using the Twitch message system to try and meetup with an underage girl at Twitch Con. Not saying there's a lack of evidence, but so far it's just a former Twitch staff and online clout goblins doing the "Oh he totally was. Trust me bro."
What’s interesting is that this all could’ve stemmed from a single person’s whisper campaign. I’m holding out until we see evidence and the full context.

Without a doubt, the problem with getting big is no matter what you do, you will make enemies, it's just a fact of life; and with how hard Twitch went with progressive shit, I'm sure they didn't like this guy and his character that they see as a dude bro (despite also being a cash cow, that's what top performers are). So when he gets cut loose; literally not even an hour goes by and you have Rob "Slasher" Bitchslaw saying "I talked to people! It's really bad! It's so bad I won't repeat it!" Then put together some fucking panel stream, where people completely unrelated to this shit like Amouranth shows up because... ... ... Twitch? I guess? By the way, of course nothing gets said, it was just clout farming. Doc sues, they reach an agreement, and go there separate ways. Now suddenly you have this fucking sped running his mouth about shit for whatever reason; Slasher comes back and makes a statement, and more "trust me bros" are making statements. Doc has nothing to gain from it, I doubt anyone was really thinking "Gee, whatever happened to Dr. Disrespect and Twitch;" but suddenly some former weirdo starts fucking sperging, and come to find out he was dropping shit to try and advertise his band... wouldn't be shocked if it was just some fucking bad blood from Twitch Staff, but because he was Twitch Staff, oh, yeah, TrustMeBro™.

If it is all bullshit, would like to see the former staffer get sued; pretty sure getting dropped from the company you co-founded is provable damage, at least would think so. FF14 recently had the #1 Warrior in the World sue a psycho for defamation and won; seriously wouldn't mind watching these whisper campaigners start getting the knives in their backs.

They settled. This case didn’t see a court room.
That was his downfall. He practically locked himself in a box by not going public and solving this behind closed doors.

Hope that the settlement was good enough for him to just walk into the sunset. If not, he will be regretting this for the rest of his life.

lee-guhl MindSeT, lee-guhl MindSeT did a stream talking about this situation:

If he did do it, then he deserves to get cancelled again for being a nonce.

But if he didn't do it, I hope he starts flinging lawsuits around like it's going out of style. Cancelling people based on unfounded allegations on Twitter is a terrible aspect of our culture and there should be repercussions for this.

I don't think he was texting a minor or at least didn't know.
However, I wouldn't be surprised if he was cheating on his wife again with a fan. That part I feel like is true, trying to hookup with a fan at twitchcon that year.

The fact that no proof beyond "trust me bro" and the fact that Cody started schizoposting and sperging out because people called him on this kind of makes me belief it isn't true. But the sad fact is that, regardless of whether or not Doc is a nonce or not, he's already been found guilty in the court of public opinion by enough people for it to actually hurt him financially. Innocent until proven guilty isn't a thing anymore, now it's guilty until proven innocent

Is this guy a schizo? I don't understand any of this shit. Is it fair to say he's had it out for Dr this whole time?

Can anyone even tell me how old the "underage girl" was supposed to be? I can't find it anywhere.
Admitting she was an adult or didn't know she could have been a minor without knowing as proof, will still drive an axe to his neck looking like a cheating asshole again to his audience and leading to a divorce which is why he could not be admitting to allegations without getting fucked regardless. Thus that is why he got paid from his settlement because if there was actual proof of a minor the progressive streaming platform wouldn't hesitate not paying him shit, making it public and reporting it to the authorities. Calling someone a pedo than saying he is cheating on his wife again has a bigger impact to the public eye

You're the second person who equates adultery with high chance of illicit relations with a minor. What the fuck? I know both are bad, but they're leagues in distance in terms of being bad.
Him being open to fucking other people certainly would put him at risk of starting a relationship with some underage fan who is hiding or lying about their age.

But I agree that being an adulterer doesn't particularly increase the odds of someone knowingly chasing after minors.

As people are stating here yes you cannot NDA illegal activities, but with how people are responding to these claims it seems like a case of it did happen but wasn't illegal. For example if the girl didn't tell him her age and it was found out later by twitch staff. Then it is not illegal but what they say is true
If it was something like this he could easily just say so. Him not clarifying what happened implies it was bad.
