Him pulling the word "minor" from the tweet only to put it back in really shows what kind of game he's playing. I firmly believe he's stupid enough to think that would've worked as a cover-up and X didn't have a tweet version history.
Or he could've said "17 year old", but I have a feeling there's a reason he didn't say that, since she was probably younger.
If the truth is "she was 13, but I didn't know. We didn't meet up, and I would never willingly flirt with a minor", then he should just cop to it. I don't think anyone would genuinely think he's a pedophile, and while haters would still call him one, that type of shit shouldn't be new to a big streamer. Unless the flirting was EXTREMELY bad, that is.

Try this: imagine this was someone you fucking hate with the exact same allegations. Would you really give them this much leeway?
Yes.
Yeah, a lot of ground that a 35 year old man should not be covering with a minor under any circumstances.
Yeah but again I have no idea what that actually means here.

We’re gonna have to see the messages
Agree. And also isn’t Cody leaking this some sort of violation of policy? (I mean the most important thing is to find out if Doc is a creep obviously but still)
(No particular offense to anyone being quoted. I just picked them at random, it was all over this thread.)
none taken. One day I hope to learn to read. This message is dictated speech to text from Sneed-a-post™️ (beta 0.0.1.0)

Given this started because he was sending less-than-appropriate messages via Twitch DMs, I 100% believe it. For him, that's the equivalent of using the landline phone at your job to call up an escort service. Even if she wasn't a minor- really stupid decision making there.

I think the big question, and the one that has yet to be answered, is did Doc know the age of the person at all during the conversations? And if he found out, how did the tone of the convo change? I think until that fact is known full intent really can't be judged here.
I can see now why people would be taking a more firm stance (not saying I agree with it obviously) on calling him out now but I think it’s still best to reserve calling him that until more comes out. Because there’s a large difference between the person making it known there age versus some fan lying about it.

The facts aren’t fully known and Disrespect isn’t helping his case in any way.

Either way he’s a grade A retard

He could almost certainly be sued here, but who would want to? The guy who sexted minors in his late 30’s? The platform that found out in a probably sketch way and then proceeded to keep it quiet?

The part I really don't get is how so many people seem to have known about this, including Twitch staff and journalists, yet they've all just sat on it for years while he's remained popular with access to kids this whole time. If you a) had evidence a grown man was trying to meet up with a kid for sex, as alleged, and b) have a moral compass, surely you'd have at least made an anonymous tip somewhere to satiate your conscience? If he was genuinely gonna do it, banning him from Twitch alone wouldn't have stopped him.

Obviously if it's true he can lie under a guillotine for all I care, but the fact a Twitch staff member miraculously happened to stumble upon these chatlogs (since there doesn't seem to have been mention of the minor reporting him) gives credence to the "someone at Twitch had beef with him" theory, and they could easily be exaggerating how bad the conversation actually was. As an adult in the current climate he should know better than to talk to youngsters in private messages in general, but saying he's careless and saying he's a predator are two very different accusations, and I want to see the offending chatlogs before I feel comfortable making either one.

Times like this is why you should stay the hell away from under 21 year old chicks if you are over 21. Otherwise, people who hate you will use you trying to hook up with an 17/18 year old as going after minors.
I just don’t understand why they do this stupid shit. I’m sure he had his pick of hot legal age women. Assuming this is like a 17 year old and not into blatant pedo territory.

Were there twitch whisper messages with an individual minor back in 2017? The answer is yes. (...) These were casual, mutual conversations that sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate, but nothing more.
I'm no fucking predator or pedophile.

Ya kinda gotta pick one, dude.

It's been apparent for a while he cheated on his wife and disrespected his marriage. It's been clear to me he's been pretty ripped apart for that, for years. I think he's paid his dues when it's come to that and he's kept his wife and family together through all of it. Obviously, his wife has known this whole time, most likely the full details as well. It's pretty telling to me she hasn't left him. If it truly was a 15 year old and they were very suggestive conversations where he knew her age, I can't imagine a modern woman sticking around for that. My guess is it was some 17 year old egirl in canada who sneakily didn't disclose her exact age, and didn't really have a chance to meet up.

It's messed up, he shouldn't have done it, he's said as such and it hasn't happened since (probably). Now, if it came out he'd done this multiple times with different minors, I'd have something different to say. He was an older dude on a platform full of young women absolutely fiending for him. I have a certain level of forgiveness for massive celebs who cheat, I think it's hard for us normies to truly understand the level of opportunity there. It's still bad, but I think we're unfit to judge his infidelity. The nature of the internet will mask if they are a minor as well, so it's hard to judge on that in this case too. If he had been creepy to minors in person, obviously that would be a big difference. It's unfair to dredge this up years later to call him a pedo and it's obvious to me the ones salivating over this chance to do it are the biggest actual peds and liars out there, i.e. keffals and Nadia. They're absolutely thrilled to jump on this and it's not hard to see why.

Also, as a side belief, being a pisces man is tough. They think they're such Casanovas. Major man whore energy, his wife must have her hands full with him.

Called it yesterday, the conversation did happen but it wasn't enough to legally prosecute him. All that's left to be determined is did he know this person's age before or after the fact, if it was before he has no grounds at all to try and uphold himself like this, if it was after then he can have the benefit of the doubt.
I'm going to lean a bit more towards after because if it was before then twitch would have won the civil case, instead of losing it
