I'm not convinced of Churchill's point. For one, Best of the Worst is not an argument of quality as we see in any BotW video. Second, if Republics were so great, the Romans would not have ceded theirs to Caesars and politically castrate the Senate. Why? Because their Republic did not serve its people adequately and saw the need for an alternative, which happened to be a monarchy. Even after the lineage of Caesar waned, what replaced it was not a democracy, but a series of warlord fiefdoms. The gap between the fall of the Republic was in 27 BC and the American experiment happens for real in 1787, meaning that for thousands of years, people did not choose for a democracy of any sort while monarchies rose and fell with their lineages the entire time. No one back then argued for anarcho-communist syndicates and chose the guys that got their swords from random magic women. Meaning that the scary armored men had more legitimate authority than the plebs that might have wanted anarcho-communism.

It remains to be seen if Timcast will broadcast it or not. I say they'll just do it for Rumble and leave it at that as the wrath of Youtube petrifies the Beanie Boy despite his talk.

Yes, this is an objective case of journalists playing favorites instead of acting as a neutral party. Had debates functioned as a quick source of reasonable arguments, it would actually serve some informative use. What we have now is, for Americans anyways, is proof that reason is not a form of persuasion. If you can make the audience laugh, that bypasses logic entirely. If you make them fearful, that also bypasses logic. Debate is built on an Enlightenment premise and it's completely wrong as to how people behave or desire. And Democracy is built on what people desire, not what is good for them. The problem the Uniparty has is that they don't know what's good for its constituents and have a terrible vision of waging war on anyone that does not agree with them.
Tim has said he'll stream the debate while doing color commentary on YT and call CNN's bluff over it being fair use and go to court if necessary since CNN and their scheme pissed him off

Tim says a lot of things.

How can that be true when guns have only been around for several hundred years

That's the level I feel we're at when I read things like this

In any context, how many times have you, ummm, 'resisted' in your life? Were they as simple as you talk about here? Everything you say seems very simple

Far as I was aware, Winny won many elections for seats in Parliament. By plurality and simple majority. Also lost several of them. Plus he won the general election of 1951, after losing badly in 1945

And losing again but doing very well with his Party gaining 90 seats in 1950
Before guns, there were swords. Before swords, there were spears, before spears, there were rocks. I resisted plenty, but being in California means people prefer it the way it is.

Supposedly Trump is going to announce his VP before the debate, which... might be a big enough surprise to disrupt the debate?
Could also be a way of fucking with the opponents before the debate. If they have to rewrite everything short notice to plan for whoever their sources is the most likely pick then have backup ones in case it's a more left field choice and then prep Biden for it all for Trump to saunter on and say nothing about a VP.

So what you're saying is electoral fraud is a crime, but attempted electoral fraud is not. Pressuring social media companies into censoring information is a crime, but not if they resist the pressure.

I think my Attempted Murder parallel is a good one - the argument that something is only bad if it leads to harm rules out failed attempts. There are many laws where the attempt is itself a crime. But not electoral fraud? Not censorship or extortion?
What part of "Attempted means there was an attempt" do you not get? Additionally, what part of "They were not arguing that because they attempted it they were harmed, they argued that their hypothetical attempt in the future was harm" do you not get?

It's gonna be Burgum, he's loaded money wise and will appeal more to white suburbanites
I really hope so, the other choices are all horrible just on a surface level glance.

Bergum is a WEF type:
Looks like North Dakota has a WEF plant for a governor:

Why does the governor from one of the least urban states in the country sound like a NYC bugman?
He condemned his party for saying that the LGBT lifestyle is unhealthy though he’ll likely brag about signing veto proof bills now that troons are less popular:
North Dakota’s Republican governor on Thursday blasted an anti-LGBTQ resolution that was passed by hundreds of his party's delegates, calling it insulting and divisive.

The resolution — one of dozens of party policy statements in a passed by this spring by mail-in ballot — states that many “LGBT practices are unhealthy and dangerous, sometimes endangering or shortening life and sometimes infecting society at large.”

Gov. Doug Burgum issued a statement Thursday denouncing the resolution.

“As I’ve long said, all North Dakotans deserve to be treated equally and live free of discrimination,” Burgum said. “There’s no place for the hurtful and divisive rhetoric in the NDGOP resolutions.”

Have political ads started in your area? The only one I'm seeing right now, from a likely abortion group, is targeting the Republican nominee for NC governor by scaring women about the crazy black man who will force them to have babies and they should vote for their (((white))) savior.
They started some time ago around here. Thankfully I only watch TV when I go to the bar or I am in a store where there is a TV.

From what I can tell from that limited viewing time is that commercials are almost completely: Fat people dancing around(pharma), politics, and gambling.

My money is on Tim Scott. Trump will be trying to woo some of the black vote. I know "Dems R da real raycis" is a tired platitude, but watching libs do mental gymnastics upon seeing a black conservative is a reliable source of lulz.

I think J.D. Vance would be a solid pick if he weren't a freshman senator. Young populist, Marine who did time in the Sandbox, and doesn't suck corporate cock.

I'm iffy on Mike Flynn. Though he is an American hero who was unjustly railroaded by vengeful feds, he's damaged goods now. They've successfully tarnished his reputation.

The main advantage of Flynn is putting the fear of God on glowniggers. It makes taking Trump out via the Kennedy method unfeasible as it merely exchanges a rabid dog for a feral wolf.
True, but I worry his damaged name could hurt Trump with swing voters. Dumb niggercattle won't look past Flynn's "guilty plea" which was withdrawn due to inadequate counsel and the Feds threatening to prosecute his son if he didn't.

Flynn only makes sense if Trump's gambit is that both are victims of malicious prosecution.
