I think CNN may be motivated by money. CNN attacked Trump very hard during his presidency because that gave them amazing ratings and showered them in money, but when they cheerleader for Biden that kept dropping. Right around the time that Fox had a hostile takeover and became the RINO network, CNN started shifting back to having journalistic integrity. They still have to boot out the DEI cheerleaders they hired to replace honest journalists, but that's suddenly a lot easier now.

It bears repeating that CNN is now owned by David Zazlav after the Discovery buyout of Warner, and Zazlav loves money and Trump. I suppose it’s possible that he’s boiling the frog and slowly un-pozzing CNN at such a rate that normies don’t notice and get spooked like they would have if he had simply cleaned house.

That would be the dream. The 2 minute 1 minute stuff is such horseshit that pretty much encourages candidates to lie about promises and side step any hint of complexity. All I really want is 60 minutes where each candidate fully arguing back and forth with each other with a moderator stepping in briefly to ensure that one person doesn't fully dominate the conversation. After all, a good chunk of a presidents job is meeting with people and debating issues. I want that actually demonstrated in a similar public setting instead of this hand holding bullshit almost entirely puppeted by media moguls.

I expected Biden to preform like he did at the SOTU where he was rambling and angry but still lucid-ish. The media would spin is as him being "fiery, energetic and passionate" but I didn't actually expect him to 404 with vacant gazes every time Trump was speaking. Its all people are going to remember and talk about.

The fallout from this is so bad. There won't be a second debate. For the safety and sake of the nation, you cannot put Biden up for another performance like that again. Everyone now knows this man is not in charge of the country.
