Dash cam footage picks up right after Riley’s arrest. Basic Summary:
I. He asks the cop if he is allowed to wear his sunglasses (at night) in his mugshot. Of course the answer is no.
II. Riley points out how very autistic Mint “Hint” is, and asks yet again for the popo to tell her that he said to call Dick. The police officer driving him to county lockup leaves the parking lot & sets out. Riley tries hard to chat him up with inane shit.
III. Stinky Riley asks his charges again, gets told stalking & harassment, says, “oh man,” like he’s on the TV show Leave It To Beaver & has been a bit bad, but proud of it. Cop asks if he is a competitor of EJ, Riley lies about a bunch of BS trying to play innocent, even acting like he mistakenly ended up at EJ’s wearhouse five months back, just because it had a comic book logo. Cop sounds doubtful.
IV. Arrive at station, Riley has gone quieter,
“the worst part is definitely the handcuffs, second worst is the glasses sliding, third is the heat, even with the air on, these they’re not meant to be ventilated”
Cop says something I couldn’t quite catch, two words.
Then Riley responds “huuumph, was talkin’ to myself” so it seems like the cop told him to quiet down or something to that effect.
Silence ensues, brief popo radio codes are interspersing the silence & white noise.
V. After around 5 minutes of silence the clip ends with policeyard lot door opening. No words were spoken after Stinky whined that he was talking to himself when the cop seemed to professionally tell him to STFU. The obtuse gnome is one of those cloying ingratiating types & it is clear that even the Texas popo see through his shitty little act.

God Riley is such an uncomfortable sped. His general awkwardness (not even getting started on Mint) made this difficult to watch.

I think that Mint and Riley's actions make more sense if you consider that they view themselves as being cartoon characters. You could probably imagine a cute cartoon wearing Mint's laundry day outfit. Riley sees himself as an Animaniacs character saying wacky zany things to the cops. It's like they're both waiting for a laugh track to come save them, but the world is silent.
