The thing about HHH is that while he's contrarian as fuck and often to a fault, he's also one of those posters who inspires people to act like complete fucktards through his actions, much more so than many of our resident shit disturbers, and I for one respect the fuck out of the guy for it. I don’t know what the DNC&co’s current stance is in light of the MSM’s betrayal. Keeping Biden is likely no longer a tenable position because they needed the MSM to provide cover, which they now seem unwilling to do.

Media wants clicks and ratings for election year. "Will Biden drop?" is a story that delivers them, if Biden is going to go out there and look half dead. Even media types with an agenda find it hard to pass up ratings bait drama.

I'll run cover for the talking heads onnthis point. At this point, Newsom would do better. He'd lose, sure, but I think he'd do better. At this moment, Biden is poison, and I wouldn't be surprised if his campaign has gone rogue given that e-mail they sent out with wordy, whiny screeds to-be-recited in case his debate performance is mentioned.
I doubt anyone besides his handler (wife), and his campaign staff, want Biden to continue.
Newsom might at-least salvage the down-ticket in part, but I don't think Newsom would run. He might want the office, but the demotivation from this incident, paired with the true die-hard biden boomers throwing a shit-fit, would probably lead to this being political suicide. He'd always be the schmuck who the DNC carted to the slaughter after the President lost his marbles.
