Democrats fear replacement scenarios as much as keeping Biden

Key L:
A debate watch party in Los Angeles on Thursday night happened to feature Harris’ husband Doug Emhoff, Pritzker, Whitmer and Beshear. There were other high-profile attendees – by a few answers in, Rob Reiner was screaming about losing and Jane Fonda had tears in her eyes, according to people in the room.

RoaringKitty is an idiot, but boy do I hope that goes in his favor.
There was never a more irony-tinged phenomenon than people trying to justify solely buying gamestop to fuck with hedge funders. If you thought that was a serious investment and something worth jumping on once the short squeeze started really fucking with its targets you deserved to lose your money.

Trump derangement syndrome was at it's highest, with a good portion of people deathly afraid that the world would end if Trump got re-elected. Biden seemed like a safe bet, because he was hidden from the public eye and his failings were heavily downplayed. Many people involved in the election process believed it was their duty to their nation and family to ensure that Trump didn't win, even if that meant turning a blind eye to fraud or being involved in the fraud.

Of course, now people are much worse off then when Trump was president, and they have seen Biden fall apart on TV. Those that were complicate in the fraud have experienced the consequences of their actions, and will now face more difficulties and consiquences if they try again.
The Trump curse strikes America. As it should.

Biden’s family privately criticizes top advisers and pushes for their ouster at Camp David meeting

Who must go?
The blame was cast widely on staffers, including: Anita Dunn, the senior adviser who frequently has the president’s ear; her husband, Bob Bauer, the president’s attorney who played Trump in rehearsals at Camp David; and Ron Klain, the former chief of staff who ran point on the debate prep and previous cycles’ sessions.
Who must go?
Additionally, Biden’s campaign staff only grew angrier at CNN as to how the debate was run, according to several people familiar with the conversations. Their complaints were lengthy, including that the moderators should have fact-checked Trump more often, that Biden was not told which camera he’d be on when not speaking and that the makeup staff made him appear too pale, according to the three people. Biden did, however, agree to the terms of the debate before it was held.

To be fair, they’re not wrong. Any competent campaign advisor, knowing Biden’s state, would not have allowed the debate to happen. The outcome was *so* ridiculously predictable. Like yeah people are going to speculate about Biden’s condition if he pulls out of a debate that everyone expects to be heavily biased in his favor, but having people speculate is literally infinity times better than confirming to all of America, live on TV, that he’s a drooling corpse.
I think the strategy was to demand a bunch of concessions that they thought Trump wouldn’t agree to and when he pushed back say “Trump is afraid to debate me”.

Instead Trump called their bluff and Biden’s campaign imploded.

Certainly, but when Trump called their bluff they should’ve folded. Make whatever pathetic excuse they could to shut it down. Literally anything would’ve been better than what actually happened.

The anger stage comes the evening of November 8 into the early morning of November 9 when fiery but mostly peaceful protests sweep over dozens of cities again
Maybe so. But as long as Trump wins, I couldn't give a fuck. It will have happened under the last hours of the Biden presidency. The irony alone is worth it.

I witnessed the use of the He Answered All The Questions defense today. This was during an argument between my friend's wife and her mom. Interestingly, it was the wife that was making the argument and the mom that wasn't buying it. I was just trying to enjoy my Sunday, so I kept my mouth shut.
