Anyway, corrections aside, I might as well try telling what I personally know about "pediverse" as an user of normal side of fedi consisting of racists and shitposters. I think Lecter's nnia.space was a first instance of its kind, that being advertised by and for open pedophiles (before that, there briefly was berries.space advertising itself as a safe space for "LGBTQ+ youth" and imploding in a very suspicious way when Archive Team decided to archive fedi; that was long before my time and almost no archives exist, my source is freespeechextremist admin telling me about it). It has (had?) a policy of not discussing pro-contact stances publicly so that they could shield themselves behind the premise of activism. This state of affairs wasn't as welcoming for some, which prompted them to find a new place.
Enter anime.website, one of the first Pleroma instances ever, being somewhat well regarded before the events as the old blogpost shows. Hosted by a tranny known as Opal Hart/wowaname, who we now know as being a pedophile as well. Eager for users, he invites the more radical nonces to it, which already raises some questions, but he claims it's being done for the sake of "research". Eventually an unthinkable happens, something that absolutely no one could have predicted: CP got posted. And not deleted for weeks at the time, as opal claims he won't do anything without a court order. This prompts many then-friendly instances to either defederate it or at the very least strip media. Years later opal had some schizo meltdown and closed the instance on the last day of its domain's registration, refusing to renew it, but that's another story.

Around the same time as those debacles, pedos started appearing on Pawoo, which at that point had a reputation of ignoring reports in English as people on Mastodon side used to report artistic works legal in Japan to its own jannies. Those cared less about activism and more about gooning (someone coined the term "pawooner"), doing ERP and connecting with each other on chats like Tox and Session to share "content". Despite Pawoo's reputation, they did respond to reports even if slowly, especially when pawooners got bold enough to post CP directly on it. This made pawooners spawn a new safe space, hentai.baby. Eventually its domain got suspended, but offshoots of its offshoots (like a bunch of rapemeat.<tld> instances) might still pop up once in a while.

Back on previous track, sometime after anime.website issue gets swept under the rug, its pro-contact users migrate to a new instance: youjo.love, hosted by some commie tranny named Chizu (I also recall him being equated to some MAP spammer on /a/, but don't remember much aside from that; happenings threads in /qa/ archives might have some clues). A couple months later a similar instance popped up, lolison.top which explicitly had zero rules on its about page. Don't know what's the reasoning behind that, but I suspect this might have something to do with youjo rules supposedly prohibiting users under 18 from registering, as I remember my instance's blockbot notifying me of a user claiming to be 15 randomly blocking me.
Eventually, last year cemented youjo's domain getting suspended (apparently the server is still up as some instances in its cluster still federate with it, likely by adding it to server's hosts file), and this coincided with dozens of new pedo instances popping up almost every week up to this moment. What once was a crackden sprawling over just a few domains, is now an evergrowing chimera fedi admins have to be on constant lookout for. It's all so tiresome.

Given the sheer magnitude of the situation and the fact that police and FBI in Emily's area have been called constsntly since November 2023, I hope this moves up from propspering grounds. This is shit of nightmares, and I have been keeping my eye on this since the infamous doc was posted. But I can assure you that this isn’t going to be your whole life, you will be able to leave this situation and there are better friends, better social media groups out there.
Go to your local police station, let them know what’s happening. Your parents may need to know, but having your parents mad at you is better than being in danger. They’ll be able to protect you in case if worst comes to worst, and it will be far more productive than a tip to the FBI.
Cut off contact with Ezra and her friends. Now, since you posted here, they may consider this a “betrayal” and try to go after you.

Mapsupport.de is the instance run by the oddballs user “consuela.” He does all the mass-reporting to get videos like DWD’s taken down. He also had a post I swear I screenshotted with a blurred loli body pillow while stating that it’s illegal to own one in Germany, but unfortunately I can’t find it anymore.
