The fact the media wasn't given/obeyed their new marching orders on Monday, and are still talking about the debate, plus all the whispers still going on behind the scenes is... curious. Normally something like this would've been snuffed out and been pivoted away from by now. I 100% assumed all the media would just be saying "he had a cold, nothing is wrong but DRUMPHF LIED" by now.

Wouldn't it just straight up be a mistrial? Most of the evidence comes from the Trump Presidency. Trump has presumptive immunity for his official acts taken while President. His official acts can't be used against him as evidence. The court never bothered to assess what acts were and weren't official acts before allowing them to be submitted into evidence, ergo the whole thing is tainted

Oh that's really easy to answer. Everything was delayed, on purpose, to after the debate. SCOTUS punted all its most impactful decisions, large discussions about new candidates were punted to the same time, multiple major polling firms decided to wait until after the debate to do their polling. Alongside a dozen other things.

Everyone had their own excuse for it, it was hardly an orchestrated thing, but for one reason or another everyone was saving their own bombshell for after the debate. Ironically, the prevailing reason would have been "To not effect the election by posting anti-biden information before the debate". Their attempt to be neutral has stockpiled multiple nuclear bombs to hit all around the same time.
