Victims do not press charges. The state does. An uncooperative victim can leave prosecutors with little other evidence, but a victim can't tell the government not to charge you. You broke the state's laws. The state is going to fuck you if they think they can.

So if/when (most likely when) BossmanJack is released from the jail, he will most likely not be allowed to return to his residence pretrial due to the domestic violence angle of the charges. Unless the family member he assaulted doesn't reside at the residence of course.
