I recently watched a video clip of a Pippa / Kirsche stream where they watched that Vice hit piece on Japan and their "pedophile" problem. Japan might indeed have one, but the entire piece was filled with holes so large you could drive a mack truck through. If you think you hate journalists, you don't hate them enough. The entire thing was going after Manga as a whole instead of realizing that what they were looking at was a tiny portion of the larger industry. I mean, it's Vice, so expecting them to do any real research that doesn't fit their narrative was never going to fly.

I remember when this thing came out, they literally blocked that piece from being viewed in Japan because they KNEW the entire island would come after them. Didn't they get some bullshit dick sucking reward for this piece of "journalism" ?

They did it because their lawyers told them they'd get sued. Defamation laws are more brutal in Japan. Especially since the people they interviewed said they were taken out of context and otherwise had the interview edited to make it look like they were against the industry.

I don't think so because Japan isn't the manga paradise people think it is. It certainly is from an entertainment pov but not in society as whole. Some angry internet nips and lots of their western ass kissers would come after them, but that's it. If you expect a giant uprising, you are going to get dissapointed.

Alyssa Mercante's pet cucks Nick Calandra and John Phipps are really going after 8-Bit Eric for ranting a video about them and how much they're a bunch of bullies defending Alyssa Mercante.
