It didn't yield any more info on this case but apparently Stearns county has a separate search than the state. Might be useful at some point.

They didn't know there were drugs but the older children "confirmed" that if any of the children tested positive it was because of all the people on drugs in the home. Makes sense.

Drug addicts are not good at acting sober nor are they smart when it comes to hiding drugs. 100% guarantee that they are lying for their parents because they don't want them to get into as much trouble.

This would be consistent my reading of the the documents posted in the past month which was that they weren't informed of the situation (and thus, likely, of the report from the pastor which precipitated the events) until after the search was about to get underway.

In my state, as a mandatory reporter, I am required to make 2 reports. One to CPS and one to LE. I don't get to pick. The 5/16 date is the same date that LE said they were contacted by the pastor in their warrant application. The pastor called both CPS and the Sheriffs office on 5/16 and filed reports. Nick saying that the 5/16 was dismissed obtusely leaves out that 5/16 is what led directly to the investigation by police and his 5/23 arrest.
