She claims she's not on painkillers.

Okay, I am totally ignorant on this particular matter, so medfag Kiwis? Educate my dumb ass.

When my cats have major dentals, or other surgical procedures, they get a long-acting Buprenorphine shot immediately post-op, which lasts about three days. For the first 24 hours, they're loopy as fuck (usually in a soppy, drunkstaggering, "I love you, Human. Have I told you how much I love you? Because I really, really love you" way), and I can still see it well into the second day.

So is there a version of that for humans, and would Anna be getting it? Because I can see her conveniently "forgetting" that when asked if she's on pain meds. If she hasn't had to pop a pill since she awoke from anesthesia, then to her mind she's not on any pain meds.

That said, I'm just, waiting for the inevitable crash. Because it will come.

Gues sit could just be the adrenaline after big procedure being done.
She's surronded by medical staff catering to her every whim, she's still on that high of being out of surgery and fantasizing about how this is the first step in to her new life

I wanna see her keep this energy home and alone, forced to change her own puppy pads or tryna squeeze in to compression garments that's ugly as sin as she slowly realize this wasn't as life changing as she tought

Yes. I am not a medfag and I'm not sure if it was disclosed exactly what drugs Anna got, but it could be stuff still in her system from anesthesia OR something she got post-op.

One example that's popular in the munchie world- IV Benedryl is often given as an antiemetic and unlike taking benedryl pills for allergies, IV benny makes some people high. And it especially can make you high if you're already on other stuff.

I also would not be surprised at all if Anna is stretching the definition of "not painkiller".... or straight-up lying.

She could definitely be pretty high on just the attention and feelings of accomplishment alone, too.

It doesn't take a medfag to know that frantic motion immediately after surgery is ill-advised. Her stupidity is astounding and her medical staff should’ve prevented her from posting that.

How deep do the incisions go and do they stitch them up?

They want you to stand after surgery, but not dance.

The doctor, in an interview, said he gives Valium and fentynl during the procedure. He can adjust with more if a patient complains. He says he likes patients awake so they can move, which is BS. He can’t give anesthesia himself (because he’s a fucking dermatologist) so doesn’t have one on staff. She has so much fat it’s possible she has drugs in her system still.

The tumescent part means they inject with saline, lidocaine and epinephrine. The epinephrine is used as a vasoconstrictor, to prevent blood loss, and get that oh so pure fat the doc likes to pretend is his technique. Lidocaine is to numb the area. There have been cases of lidocaine toxicity, where patients became psychotic due to too much lidocaine after liposuction. As you know, epinephrine is also adrenaline so can cause excitability.

Anna is not acting normal. She’s a head case as we all know, but she probably is also reacting to all the meds that were used. They aren’t out of her system yet.

Since she has a nurse, her behavior should be reported to the doctor so that dosages can be adjusted. But I suspect that’s too much to hope for with this quack.

I will say that having a massive deathfat on the table, and having her be able to turn herself instead of needing extra hands on deck to turn her, has got to be a huge plus.

There's no way on earth, no way this bitch isn't on pain meds. She's a totally spoiled princess who dumped her family and publicly called them abusive when they were probably just like "please Anna you're gonna die." She blamed an entire ass move on noisy construction. She gets rage face when a company sends her free stuff she doesn't really like. Now after getting cut up, she's dancing around like a clown and talking about living in a whole new world like she's in Aladdin lol. Ain't no way.

"I've been disgusting for 24 hours"

A bit longer than that Anna.

If it wasn't for the evidence of weeping wounds etc, I'd honestly think he just drugged her and cleaned her. A valuable and valiant service.

Her manic-ness doesn't really scream opiates and benzos to me, so the epinephrine sounds like a good shout, but not a dr. Also no matter how heavy duty the painkiller, serious pain can get through, so that plus how much of her pain is mechanical to start off with suggests a large dose of copium.
