JuJu is just lucky that Maddox dropping the ball with the lolsuit, (and his attitude which could rub people the wrong way and make them hate him tbh) made people not look too deeply into it and just take Dax's side.
Plus JuJu had everyone else sweeping for him and making sure his side of the story was the one people heard.
Having it all laid out like that though, in hindsight, Maddox was right.
