Been wondering this. It keeps coming up on the demented monkey youtube channels. So many little yellow sweaters. Some of them seem to be the exact same pattern and material, bizarrely.

That there is now evidence that somebody is specifically requesting the yellow really does my head in.

It could be a thing the person gets off on, but I believe it's more likely proof that it's new content that they requested. Like "put shoe on head" for verification.

Probably kinda late and gay, but I have a theory to posit about their requests for "yellow clothes" in videos like this. Spoilered for length/bordering on off-topic.

It's something widespread enough that it's popped up in movies and TV shows for decades. And, in most cases, it's often utilized in settings where it's used to amplify child-like qualities - mainly, innocence and naiveté - in an otherwise horrific setting. That's why here in the west you see it a lot in the horror genre, with two well-known examples being Georgie from IT and Six from Little Nightmares.

Then there's the more perverse associations in certain places in Asia, where things like a bright yellow hat is an indicator of a very young child in their early years of school. Which does unfortunately mean that specific element pops in eastern media with children who are put in situations that are anything but innocent. There's no other reason for it to be there besides being a visual tool meant to just further enhance the depravity of destroying innocence the consumers of that particular media-type seeks out and enjoys. Whatever the case, yellow clothing in videos like this is often an element that just adds to the "thrill" that a more depraved viewer might experience, because it's a very easy way to make something already infantile appear all the more child-like for the audience. There is something else to keep in mind. Whilst we know Fiqri has blood on his hands, it is not to say an even younger relation might not have been involved at some level.
