I like the implication that Twitter slacktivists are more bothered with Garterbelt's exaggerated design that's very obviously inspired by the blaxploitation movies from the 70's, than the fact that in the OG series he was explicitly hinted to be gay (or at least bisexual but leaning more towards men) with his whole personality being a gay stereotype of a pedo priest that was portrayed as comedic when he wasn't being depicted as an authority figure for the main characters.
