Just Clinton it. All 3 found dead in the back of a car ditched in a swamp, all phones crushed with a hammer and shot in the back of the head twice

Really, would ANYBODY be actually upset?
Honestly suiciding them would be very easy. Fentanyl has a lethal does that's equivalent to a few grains of salt if you aren't a user, and even if you were a heavy user if you got clean your original dose would kill you. Just put them on an Air Force One international flight and lose the narcan pack, then stage Hunter accidentally dosing them all with his special drugs and by the time the plane can land they would be in a coma or dead.

Oh yeah, this is going great…

I've seen dozens of articles that mention she's gone: but some are saying she quit, some are saying she's fired, and others dance around it by saying "she parted ways". The story just happened recently, so it looks like the narrative is changing rapidly.

Ok, then Military/Veteran status or net taxpayer status? It's clear the universal franchise is a bad fucking idea, but it's unclear how to best address the failings.

Anyone getting more than they're giving to the government having a say is generally bad. Veterans, particularly combat vets, gave a lot, non-financially, or at least risked it. The key is to not let Tyrone who is on welfare, but drives a Benz, vote.
Problem is you create a system that can be gamed. If military service is the track to rights, then you end up with Rome. If you want some sort of "net accounting," finance is nothing but a game. Physical fitness can't be gamed.

1. Be male
2. Deadlift your own bodyweight
3. Run a mile under 6:00
4. Hit a man-sized target with a rifle you own at 100m, unaided vision

How many worthless leeches will be able to do all four? Not enough to be politically relevant, I'll warrant.

He’s currently about to speak at black church.
The handlers have forgotten to pre-load him with the prompt to remember to close his eyes to pray.

ETA- after his “only the Lord God Almighty can make me drop out of the race” comment, I’m watching this appearance with double the odds he’s going to get struck down.

Oh he is playing with fire.

Because he isn’t unfit. Biden has a slight speech problem and isn’t good with public appearances but behind closed doors the man’s getting RBIs. He still controls the game and the DC insiders know this. The MSM only sees the frontend and is having a spergout about his ‘cognitive abilities’ but it’s all bluster akin to saber-rattling. Biden’s organization will make arrangements with his donors for even more money for the most fair and free elections we’ve seen in history. By the convention, he’s going to be getting the biggest schlong sucking we’ve seen since Obama’s nomination.
It's distressing to me that I've met 3 people in real life who actually think this and that everything is fine in the dem party. Very much divorced from the news

It seems like both candidates have a 50/50 split or close to it. Barring any fudging of the numbers. And there are other opinions other than trump good Joe bad. Or Joe bad trump good. Personally I find both candidates to be lackluster for numerous reasons.
Every one of those polls shows that it isn't a 50/50 split, it's a solid Trump lead, both in battleground states and nationally. When every poll has you winning, that's a trend, not "they're both basically equal".

Trump is polling better than he ever did in 2016 or 2020, and better than any Republican since Bush in 2000. All while Biden is polling significantly worse than any Democrat in decades. Kerry's polling in 2004 was the weakest this century, and his polling was still far stronger than Biden's has been this year.

2024PollTrumpBiden.jpg

There's every indication of Biden losing support, even before the debate; there's no indication of the same with Trump. If anything, Trump has consolidated support since the trial verdict. Any poll that has looked at 2020 voters has shown Trump holding onto more of his 2020 voters than Biden is his own.

We've also seen the "undecideds" increasing since the debate, at the same time as Biden's numbers have dropped. That indicates collapsing enthusiasm, previously decided voters switching off.

And that's all without considering that Trump has generally polled about 3 points lower than his actual results in state polls in the last two elections.

The level of open fuckery and gaslighting going on has allowed me to get my parents and some other family members even further to the right than they were. Almost all of my family vote R but a lot of them were vanilla boomercons. Now that they are seeing all the "they took our jobs!" shit they complained about years ago come to fruition and they are having PTSD flashbacks from the Carter economy and are seeing them lie about an obvious dementia patient - they have been a lot more willing to get vocal about other issues like DEI, great replacement, and the Trans Question.

A lot of the leftists I unfortunately have to interact with act either dejected and deflated while saying Biden should be replaced, or avoid the topic. Some of them are legitimately coming unhinged with their TDS and I've even heard one old bat bring out the two scoops thing unironically.

Use the shit going on before your eyes to start helping the people you love pay attention to the other shit that is happening all around them. Teach them to vet sources on their own and get them motivated and educated enough that they can talk to their boomer friends etc about it and maybe sway them.

My heart says you're wrong but my brain says you're right. The only thing I disagree with is that Biden is fit. He's just a puppet to keep the Right Side of History™ in power. I'm still not convinced Trump is going to win. Him winning would require TPTB not to cheat, and the system of fraud they built in 2020 is still fully functional. They'd be idiots not to cheat.

Millitary enlistment should give you either undeveloped land for free, or very favorable loan conditions that can be quickly paid off with good work.any voting structure should be focused on ensuring voters have a strong tie to the land. Increase the super delegates to that ungodly number they are supposed to be, and restructure the government so that more power belongs to the individual states.

Well given Biden's abysmal performance yeah he is pulling ahead though it's not much in comparison however like you said that's not including undecided voters. It is a close race though. And there is a lot of people on both sides of the aisle that are not finding this to be a particularly great election with two really poor choices. Trump didn't do so well in his first tenure in office and Biden is infinitely worse.
Trump can directly point to numerous times he tried exercising presidential authority to get things done and was subverted because the Dems unified in the house and Senate and cucked him on everything after 2018. That doesn't excuse the fact that he still had some fuck ups, but the real concern is that even if he wins the presidency they will likely put all in on retaking the house and expanding the Senate so they can cockblock everything he does for the next forever. If the Rs don't secure some more seats and get some more senators in 2024 a Trump win would be a pyrrhic victory because he'll be hamstrung from accomplishing anything and that would sour people going into the second leg of his term when he'd become tied up campaigning for other Rs instead of working. They don't fear orange man as much as they do the idea of orange man succeeding and then setting up a new republican frontrunner who will beat them in 2028.

Yeah that's why I'm not particularly thrilled with him as a candidate. Even if he were to be sworn into office, there stands a legion of bureaucratic dick bags who will do nothing except subvert the presidency.
Nobody will cooperate with him period. Biden if he wins again we'll get stuck probable with kamila Harris or whatever shadowy puppet group has their hand up her ass that week.

It's pretty much already does under the VA home loan program. Got my first house with a interest rate of 2.75%.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff has tested positive for COVID-19 after experiencing mild symptoms, his office announced Sunday, but his wife, Vice President Kamala Harris, has tested negative and remains asymptomatic.

Emhoff spokesperson Liza Acevedo said in a statement that the second gentleman “is fully vaccinated and three times boosted” and that he is “currently asymptomatic, continuing to work remotely, and remaining away from others at home.”

Acevedo said Harris was tested for COVID on Saturday “out of an abundance of caution” and the result was negative. She is scheduled to campaign in Las Vegas for President Joe Biden ‘s reelection on Tuesday.

Emhoff previously tested positive for COVID in March of 2022, and Harris tested positive for the virus the following month.

Biden tested positive for COVID in July of 2022, then tested positive again slightly more than three days after he was cleared to exit coronavirus isolation — in a rare case of “rebound” following treatment with an anti-viral drug.
Top Democratic lawyer backs mysterious news site

The Scoop
A secretive local media network with ties to high-profile national Democratic operatives wants to convince regulators in Arizona that despite the political tilt of its stories, it is not a political entity and should not be subject to campaign finance disclosures.

Star Spangled Media operates a series of left-leaning websites including the Morning Mirror, a difficult-to-find, barebones blog that for the last few months has periodically published a few unbylined stories about seemingly random topics. Its “About Us” page simply reads: “Welcome to the Morning Mirror—where reliability meets fresh insight. Stay informed with us as we deliver on the matters that impact your life.”

Over the last few weeks, Star Spangled Media has started spending a modest amount to boost Morning Mirror stories on Facebook that tout the pro-abortion rights records of local Democratic candidates running for Michigan House seats.

The site is low on content, but it has the backing of the law firm led by Marc Elias, perhaps the Democratic Party’s best known elections litigator and a central player in 2024’s politics. And Elias’ law firm is moving to ensure the odd blog is treated as a journalistic operation, not a political one.

In a letter to the state’s campaign finance regulator, the Arizona Citizens Clean Election Commission, in late May, Jonathan S. Berkon, an attorney at the Elias Group, asked the state finance regulator to opine on whether the state’s campaign finance law applies to Star Spangled Media. The company’s activities, argued Berkon, do not constitute campaign media spending, and it shouldn’t have to report extensive financial info to state or federal campaign finance regulators.

“Star Spangled Media is a for-profit media company that is in the business of publishing and distributing original news stories, commentaries, and editorials,” he wrote. “Star Spangled Media accepts funds in the ordinary course of its business from grants from nonprofit organizations that are interested in funding the type of news coverage that Star Spangled Media undertakes and building an audience for the news coverage via targeted advertising. For tax purposes, this revenue is treated like any other revenue derived from a commercial transaction.

“Because any funds that Star Spangled Media spends on content and news boosting are the monies it receives via these ordinary course commercial transactions,” Berkon concluded, the company is not a “covered person” under Arizona campaign finance law.

Despite Berkon’s argument, it is clear that there are some ties between institutional Democrats and the Morning Mirror. Many of the articles on the site do not have author bylines, making it difficult to understand who is producing the content.

But the site’s source code reveals a few clues about the its ties to Democratic politics: The Morning Mirror was created in part by Lucas Anderton, a creative director for SBDigital, a progressive digital advertising firm. Cesar Vargas-Torrico, a former Democratic comms staffer working for a left-leaning Democratic PR shop, is listed as an author on stories.

Know More
Arizona regulators don’t know what to make of the Elias Group’s argument. In a response late last month, the commission said that, “because The Morning Mirror has extremely limited output, and there is no information available about its editorial process, it is impossible for the Commission to determine whether its political articles—many of which appear to be generated by using campaign created media—go through the same process as its non-political articles.”

“Because the Commission cannot conclude the press exception applies, the Commission cannot conclude that Star Spangled Media is not a covered person and does not intend to engage in campaign media spending,” the letter said. “Equally importantly, however, the Commission is not concluding the opposite—simply put more facts about Star Spangled Media’s internal operations and news presence in Arizona would be necessary for the Commission to reach a reasoned conclusion about whether the press exception applies.”

Max's View
The Morning Mirror may not explicitly be a partisan enterprise, but from the outside, it is hard not to view it as part of a political operation. Democratic consultants — represented by a law firm that does much of the legal work for Democrats’ House, Senate, and state legislative committees — are running a website with positive stories about Democratic candidates in an election year, and using paid ads to boost those stories.

It’s part of a multi-pronged push by Democrats to counter conservative media across the country through increasingly creative and sometimes opaque digital strategies — ones that blur the line between even the most activist political journalism and paid campaigning for the Democratic Party.

Last year, I reported that Democratic consultants and progressive media activists were pushing wealthy Democrats to invest in for-profit media companies and social media influencers in the wake of the collapse of a generation of youth-oriented digital news outlets like Vice and BuzzFeed News. Part of the diagnosis of a widely-circulated 85-page report by longtime Democratic operative and communicator Arkadi Gerney was that center- and left-leaning philanthropists and investors should invest in local television and radio in places where local media has disintegrated.

Left-leaning groups have gotten more involved in the digital landscape, as well.

As Semafor previously reported, Courier Newsroom, a network of local news sites with close ties to the Democratic Party, ramped up its ad spending to target progressive voters ahead of the 2024 election. While the sites have a fairly transparent point of view, it’s not always easy to tell who is behind the stories.

Earlier this year, Iowa Starting Line ran paid Facebook ads boosting critical articles about a bill that would alter the state’s education funding, a proposal opposed by state Democrats and the National Education Association, the country’s largest teachers union. But as Semafor previously noted, the articles did not disclose that the union is a major funder of Courier, having contributed half a million dollars to the organization since 2022.

To its credit, Courier is far more sophisticated than other players in the space. Prior to this article, the only other piece written about the Morning Mirror was in FWIW, Courier’s must-read digital political newsletter.

Some of these types of sites may undermine confidence in independent journalism, but it’s not clear that paid Facebook advertising to the web is the major communications channel it was eight years ago. As news consumers’ habits change, boosting these articles on Facebook also seems unlikely to change many minds — even if it becomes a favored channel for spending the money of Democratic political donors.

Room for Disagreement
In an email with Semafor, Berkon cast Star Spangled Media as a transparently left-of-center replacement for diminished local media.

“Star Spangled Media is aiming to fill a hole in the media landscape: providing factually accurate information about legislatures, legislative policies, and legislative candidates, and non-policy issues such as the weather,” he said.

A person familiar with the outlet said that it was not owned, operated, or controlled by a campaign, political party, or political action committee, didn’t endorse candidates, and had editorial independence.

Notable
  • In his book, The Death of Truth, Steven Brill describes a similar phenomenon: “pink slime” media. “They are secretly financed by partisan funders and created to boost their favorite political candidates and tear down their opponents while piously masquerading as independent, nonprofit start-ups launched by civic-minded donors to fill the gap created by the decline of local newspapers.”
  • Alex Thompson’s own Courier deep-dive for Politico: The operation’s backers say it’s “where news is heading in the Wild West of social media, where partisan stories often thrive and the old business model is failing. “
  • NOTUS’ Maggie Severns zooms in on Courier’s North Carolina site.

Yeah and he can also point to how many times Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell fucked him over too. That is one of the biggest problems with the Republicans, their braintrust has more in common with Biden policies than they do with Trump policies, so they sabotage any chance of Republicans gaining any kind of seats. We really saw this in 2022 when McCarthy's group were spending tens of millions of dollars to take out Republicans like Joe Kent who is very Pro Trump in a district that was a Trump +4, yet McCarthy's group was creating ads and fliers calling Kent, Hitler.

This is why Democrats were smart back during Obama where they purged the Blue Dog Democrats, and then when Pelosi and AOC went toe to toe, Pelosi bent the knee and the DNC all fell in line. Republicans will continue to lose elections they should win easily because the out of touch leadership is hoping that after Trump they can go back to the Bush style of Republicanism when that coalition of voters is dead and long gone. They are so out of touch it hurts, it took how long to fire Ronda Romney? During the midterms her and the rest of the leadership allowed Democrats to run ads unopposed throughout the Summer of 2022. I live in a state where Republicans were hoping to pick up a House seat, I didn't see an ad or hear an ad on the radio for months, but heard the Democrat's ad nonstop. It was only after a poll in the fall showed tightening that the Republicans threw some crumbs to these races but the damage was done.

On the flip side a Trump ticket means high engagement for MAGA/Republican's to show up and vote on the down ticket races.

Listen, federally its gonna suck for Trump when he tries to do anything....but if he can get a enough people to vote in usually low turn out seats (ie local elections) some real progress can be made by a state by state basic.

RNC was amazingly fake and gay in 20 and 22 to the point that some county GOP leadership in Central FL was openly talking about dropping the RNC since they only funded dipshits and their endorsement was worth nothing in the current political environment
