Exactly what are you expecting to 'click' in his brain? Will it ever click in your brain that you should stop hurting NPCs/bad guys in your video games because they have feelings, too? I hope not, because that's mental, but it's just as absurd to you as as any normal train of thought is to Boogie.

He won't "click" out of this mindset, because the alternatives don't fit his understanding of how everything and everyone works, and these realities aren't as comfy as the ones he built his life around. Boogie's mindset makes total sense to Boogie: his feelings are always more important than anyone else's, because he's special. Because he's special, he's entitled to whatever he wants, whether he's earned it or not. Whether it causes hardship for others or not. His perspective is the "right" one, because no one understands how he's too special for the rules to be applied to him. He has suffered from too much self-inflicted bullshit hardship in life, therefore it's everyone else's moral and financial obligation to make up for that to a standard that BOOGIE decides is sufficient. If he has to lie, it's not really a lie because it serves the greater purpose of special manbaby boogie getting his way and the end ALWAYS justifies the means. And EVERYTHING he perceives bends to that outlook.

Slight PL, but I think it's relevant. NPD person I was working with was trying to climb out from somewhere, but got the back of their clothing stuck on a piece of protruding metal. I said "careful, your clothes are caught on the metal". They told me "No they're not". I pointed and said "I can see it right there behind you". They ignored me, tried to climb out, only to be yanked back. They caught themselves so they didn't fall or twist anything, but dropped their phone onto the concrete. And then they got pissed at me. I asked "why didn't you listen to me?", and they snapped back "If I couldn't see it, why would I believe that YOU could?"

People like this see things the way they see them. No other perspective exists and there is no other way to do things than the way they have decided it must be done - even if that means they have to tell multiple lies in order to stop you from giving them stupid suggestions that they're just not gonna do. If the whole world told them the sky was blue but they thought it was orange, they would assume that every person on the planet has vision problems.

People mistake Boogie's brand of narcissism as "fixable" because he's quick to acquiesce to things as soon as he's challenged (and then he'll go behind the person's back and do it his way anyway). He's not fixable, he's a "vulnerable narcissist". They use submission, pity, guity, etc., as a weapon to set their opponent off guard so they can continue doing what THEY want to do. Therapy tends to not work because, again, they are unable to see the perspective of the therapist, and because over time in therapy they learn the words to use in order to manipulate the therapist into believing there is progress. Don't be fooled; despite all his blubbering, THIS IS WORKING FOR HIM. He's getting his bills covered with no effort. He indulges in his addictions. Everyone around him is constantly thinking about him or what more they can do to help him. He gets narc fuel from megamind and her broken brain. And I'm willing to bet he's in a better fiancial situation than many of us, despite all of his claims of poverty. Why would he change any of that? Right now the only thing really bothering him is coffeezilla trying to throw a wrench into what should have been effort-free cash.

The same reason no one ever has done a deep dive, manipulation. You go too hard and that 1% chance that boogie comes good on his claims to kill himself then you’re killing your channel too.
